Determinazione N° 41867/UDR Del 21 Ottobre 2005 Direzione Regionale per il Piemonte e la Valle d’Aosta Prot. n. 41867 IL DIRETTORE REGIONALE Vista la determinazione direttoriale prot. n. 1091/UD del 22.07.2005, con la quale sono stati istituiti ed attivati, dal 1° settembre 2005, l’Ufficio delle Dogane di Cuneo, con competenza territoriale sulla provincia di Cuneo, e la Sezione Operativa Territoriale di Alba, con competenza territoriale sull’omonimo comune; Visto l’art. 7, comma 5, del Regolamento di Amministrazione dell’Agenzia delle Dogane, che attribuisce la facoltà al competente Direttore Regionale di modificare, per particolari esigenze, l’organizzazione interna di ciascun Ufficio; Vista la richiesta dell’Unione Industriale della provincia di Cuneo, pervenuta in data 2 agosto 2005, con la quale è stata chiesta l’estensione della competenza territoriale della Sezione Operativa Territoriale di Alba a tutti i comuni del comprensorio territoriale di Alba-Bra; Vista la proposta del Direttore dell’Ufficio delle Dogane di Cuneo prot. 2005-7051 del 9 settembre 2005 di modifica della competenza territoriale della dipendente Sezione Operativa Territoriale di Alba, stante la difficoltà di mezzi di comunicazione nell’area interessata in relazione al particolare bacino di utenza doganale caratterizzato da intensa attività anche nel settore delle accise; Vista la nota prot. n. 6639 del 5 ottobre 2005 dell’Area Centrale Gestione Tributi e Rapporto con gli Utenti – Ufficio per i servizi all’utente e per i traffici di confine; Considerata la rilevanza delle attività doganali, la posizione geografica del comprensorio territoriale di Alba-Bra e l’esigenza delle funzioni istituzionali da presidiare; ADOTTA LA SEGUENTE DETERMINAZIONE Art. 1 Modifica della competenza territoriale della Sezione Operativa Territoriale di Alba La competenza territoriale della Sezione Operativa Territoriale di Alba dipendente dall’Ufficio delle Dogane di Cuneo è estesa ai comuni del Comprensorio territoriale di Alba-Bra indicati nell’Allegato alla presente. Art. 2 Pubblicità e decorrenza 1. La presente determinazione avrà decorrenza dal 1° dicembre 2005 e sarà pubblicata sulla Gazzetta Ufficiale della Repubblica Italiana. Usciti dal paese, si arriva all’incrocio detto della Crociera di Cravanzana. Fatti pochi metri a destra si attraversa la strada e si sale a sinistra della chiesetta dedicata alla Madonna del Rosario. La strada sale dolcemente tra i noccioleti, fno a portarsi sul bordo del versante più ripido della collina. Un tratto in discesa porta a lambire l’ampio noccioleto che circonda la Cascina Guglielminetti e conduce in breve al bivio per la località Grella. Si volta a destra, abbandonando l’asfalto, su tranquilla strada inghiaiata e, costeggiando il bosco di castagni che la sovrasta, si percorre un ampio e panoramico curvane. Al bivio successivo si segue la stradina in piano a sinistra, tra gli alberi, che consente di aggirare il Bric Grella ( mt.620 s.l.m.). Da qui ha inizio la discesa verso l’abitato di Torre Bormida, che appare alla nostra destra al centro di un piccolo altipiano, sospeso sulla valle.

Gottasecca owes its fame to two local celebrities. The frst was the historical fgure of Amedeo Ravina, an Italian poet and true patriot in Italy’s unifcation movement, something of a Sándor Petőf for the Piedmont region. He spent 27 years in exile and was involved in every revolutionary action between 1821 and 1848 in the Piedmont region, in Spain, in France and then back in Italy. He came back to Italy in 1848 during the time of King Charles Albert and the Albertine Statute and became a deputy of the Subalpine Parliament nearly until his death, just a few years prior to the unifcation of Italy. The second is a local sports celebrity, Felice Bertola, one of the great champions of balon (or pallapugno), the popular local sport here in the Langhe.

    The ‘Round and Sweet’ Hazel of the Langa This route is of medium difficulty with a steep initial stretch, a flat middle section along hill crests, and a downhill last part. It is recommended for fit amateur cyclists. It is a round route 680 — Prunetto that begins and ends in Cortemilia, considered the home town 606 — Bergolo 540 — Levice 324 — Pezzolo Valle Uzzone of the ‘Tonda Gentile’ (Round and Sweet) hazel nut of the 250 — Cortemilia 250 — Cortemilia Langa – and the delicious cakes made from them! The initial part of the route is towards Bergolo and is the steepest. The second section of the route is a gentle descent towards Cortem- ilia through Uzzone valley, some wild countryside with very little evi- dence of agricultural modification. This is where most of the groves of the ‘Tonda Gentile’ hazel are to be found, within the areas of Castelletto Uzzone and Pezzolo Valle Uzzone. The last few kilometres take the cy- clist back towards Cortemilia down a more steeply descending road..
