Currently co-starring with his wife in E4’s new series “Spencer, Vogue and Baby too”, Spencer Matthews began his TV career on “”. He has won “” on , starred with his friend in Channel 4’s “Hunted” as part of the network’s Stand Up to Cancer programming and finished a runner up on the most recent series of the BBC’s “Celebrity Masterchef”.

After his education at Eton and the University of Southern California (USC), Spencer worked in the city for several years, primarily as a forward foreign exchange broker at ICAP – a job he kept whilst also filming the first series of “Made in Chelsea” before deciding to move into entertainment full time.

Spencer is a director of The Michael Matthews Foundation, a charity set up by the family in memory of his brother Michael who sadly passed away at the young age of 22. Currently, around 4000 children are being educated at schools supported by MMF. The Charity’s focus is to provide an education to those whom without help would be unlikely to receive one at all. MMF also focuses on the construction of durable school buildings, and in particular dormitories for girls – tangible assets which deliver lasting benefits. Spencer has visited Tanzania several times in the last few years to assist in any way possible and will continue to do so.

He is also passionate about sport – playing rugby for Eton and the University of Southern California in the states. Spencer has completed 4 marathons and enjoys anything dangerous. He has an accelerated free-fall skydiving license – completing over 30 jumps without ever having done a tandem and is generally up for any challenge. CLEAN INSTAGRAM
