Do not take Wattle Ave from Wanneroo Road as it is a dead end. Track length 2.4km Hot Laps Front Seat Ride $149: 4 Laps (9.6 km's) riding in the FRONT seat of a V8RACE car. Back Seat Ride $99: 4 Laps (9.6 km's) riding in the BACK seat of a V8RACE car. Back Seat Passenger $99: 4 Laps (12.4 km's) riding in the BACK seat of a V8RACE car. Track length 2.9km Hot Laps Front Seat Ride – Weekday $149, Weekend $178: 4 Laps (11.6 km's) riding in the FRONT seat of a V8RACE car. Back Seat Ride – Weekday $99, Weekend $128: 4 Laps (11.6 km's) riding in the BACK seat of a V8RACE car. Ride Inclusions: • Please allow approximately 2 hours for your experience (Subject to weather) • Your ride laps, pre-ride briefing, use of race suit and helmet, choice of Ford or Holden and free track admission for spectators Event Information: • A canteen will be available on all weekend race days with light meals available for purchase. • V8Race have set race dates • Please arrive 15mins prior to your session time for registration, no earlier. • Comfortable clothing and enclosed footwear (we recommend runners), a race suit and helmet will be provided. Minimize jewellery. If spectacles are worn when driving, it is best if they are soft framed close fitting • Must be under 135kg (Small to 4XL Race Suits) and between 135cm to 194cm high. Height and Weight Proportioned • If you have any concerns with respect to experiencing a high-speed drive with some muscle jarring and high G-forces, it is recommended that you seek professional medical advice and advise us immediately if you wish to transfer, postpone or cancel your booking. This is not a suitable activity for drivers who are pregnant. • Recording is on USB and has two camera views – one on the driver and one on the track (Both view are shown on screen at all times). Pre-purchase your Speed Stick and save, ONLY $45 (Also available at the track on race days at $49). • Framed Photo Souvenir Includes two 15cm x 20cm prints, presented in a black frame, approximately 46cm high x 35cm wide.     RACING TOWARDS A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE A REVIEW OF THE SUSTAINABILITY PERFORMANCE OF INTERNATIONAL RACING CIRCUITS Edition June 2021 Racing towards a sustainable future FOREWORD I have been involved with the safety and sustainability of racing tracks for many years now, as a driver, GPDA Chairman and a circuit designer. And while I would argue that big improvements have been made in terms of safety, I also know that there is a long way to go in terms of fully embracing sustainability for racing tracks around the globe. Though circuits have started to change the way in which they approach sustainability, more guidance on what sustainability means and how a circuit can be sustainable are needed. This is why I welcome this new research and the data-driven proposal of the Sustainable Circuits Index™, highlighting indicators from the wider sustainability and sport ecosystem, encouraging best practice and calling attention to the importance of transparent reporting and independent validation. Motorsport has historically been defined by its commitment to innovation and excellence through competition. It’s now critically important for our sport to demonstrate its commitment to sustainability through collaboration. This paper highlights the new metrics for success in this global effort and provides circuits with the tools they need to help win the race for our planet, a race which we can only win together.     Appendix 3 Literature Review Page 36 Literature Review As part of the EPA Notice Requiring Further Information, there was a requirement for “Completion of a literature review of noise sensitive receiver criteria for international and national motorsport facilities”, which is provided in this section by Lloyd George Acoustics. Sandown Raceway (Victoria, Australia) Sandown is 3.1 km in length and features 13 corners, located on Princes Highway, Springvale, Victoria. The circuit is laid around a horse racing track and is also used for festivals. The surrounding area is reasonably densely populated with residences typically at around 200 metres from the track, with one residence around 90 metres to the southeast. The regulations for the site can be found at http://www.sandown.net.au/uploads/1/9/6/2/19620565/sandown_standing_venue_regulatio ns_-_mspt_approved.pdf The site is permitted motorsport meetings with noise levels up to 95 dB(A) at 30 metres as per the CAMS guidelines and Sandown staff monitor these levels on motorsport and car club days. In terms of managing the site: • Website is updated to advise of upcoming events; • Managing traffic away from local roads; • Free ticket offers to local residents for certain events (excludes v8 Supercars); • Noise levels are monitored and any vehicle above 95 dB(A) at 30 metres are removed from the track until rectified; • Driver training days would generally be limited to 75 dB(A) at 30 metres; • There are to be no competition engines started prior to 0900 hours or after 1800 hours.
