He was a loving father, an affectionate husband and obliging neighbour. His death will be deeply regretted by a large circle of friends. At Blair, parish of Stoneykirk, on the 17th instant, Rosanna Stevenson, aged 60 years, wife of Mr John Ewing - much regretted. Here, on the 28th ultimo, Elizabeth M'Bryde, relict of Mr John Kennedy, formerly farmer in South Cairn, Kirkcolm, in the 94th year of her age - much respected and regretted by relations and numerous friends. At Barnultoch, parish of Inch, on the 2d instant, Janet Wither, relict of Mr William Reid, late farmer in Barnultoch, aged 89 years. At Clenoch Parks, on the 2d instant, Mr Edward M'Caull, aged 17 years. At Craigoch park, on the 26th ult., James Kerr, son of Mr John Kerr, aged six months. At Hamilton, Canada West, on the 6th January, Mr David Cameron, lately resident on Carrick Hill, Ayrshire. At Portpatrick, on the 24th ultimo, Mary Stevenson, relict of the late Mr John Gillespie, aged 82 years. We record with sincere regret the death, on the 2d ult., of David S. Kennedy, Esq., long known and respected in the commercial and monetary circles of this metropolis. As agent for the Bank of Montreal his name is familiar to many of our readers. Mr Kennedy was an ex-president of the St. Andrew's Society of New York. He was also a liberal benefactor to several of our charitable institutions. - New York Albion.

He was a man respected by all classes of the community for his uprightness and integrity of character. He was elected a Town Councillor on the passing of the Reform Bill, and filled that office till his death. He was also a magistrate of the burgh for many years, and took an active interest in all its affairs. He was likewise one of the founders of the Friendly Society of Wigtown, an institution established about 60 years ago. Hastings but sunk on his further passage homewards, and was buried at the Isle of Ascension on the 27th. He was the only son of the late Major Sholto Douglas, and nephew of the Marchioness of Queensberry. DEATH OF THE REV. DR. AULD. - It is with sincere regret that we this day announce the death of the Rev. Dr Auld, minister of the first charge in the parish of Ayr. Dugan, miller aged 35 years. He went to bed in his usual health on Monday night, but when he awoke he was seized with cramp, which terminated fatally about half past 7 o'clock on Tuesday evening. He was a very steady and obliging young man, and his loss will be deeply felt both by friend and acquaintance.

At Mayhar, parish of Kirkcolm, on the 14th inst., in the 83d year of her age, Elizabeth Wither, spouse of Mr Robert Kerr, formerly farmer and graindealer in Biggpark, parish of Ballantrae. The month of December, would seem to form an eventful era in the deceased's history, she having been born, married, brought forth her first born, and now died and been buried all in that month. She lived respected, and has died regretted. At Knowhouse, parish of Kirkcolm, on the 19th instant, Janet Cavan, far advanced in years. At Ballochdoan, Ballantrae, on the 18th instant, Mr John Parker, advanced in years. At Glendrissaig, Ballantrae, on the 18th instant, Miss Jane Algie.
