Tracks 2, 17, 19: from the "The People Who Grinned Themselves To Death" album. Recorded at Yellow 2 (Stockport) in June '87. Track 3: from the "Think For A Minute (New Version)" single. Track 4: from the "There Is Always Something There To Remind Me" single and was recorded for a John Peel Session 4/11/87 at B.B.C. Maida Vale. Tracks 5, 13: B- & A-side of the "Happy Hour" single. Recorded during the London 0 Hull 4 session 9th April - 8th May '86 at Strongroom (London). Track 6: A-side of the "Sheep" single. Recorded at Strongroom between the 7th and 11th of January '86. Track 7: a unique version recorded 10th January '86. Track 8: A-side of the "Five Get Over Excited" single, recorded at Yellow 2 between the 13th and 24th April '87.
