UNION (TERRORISM SANCTIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS AMENDMENTS) ORDER 2020 Approved by Tynwald: Coming into Operation: in accordance with article 2 The Council of Ministers makes the following Order under sections 2A and 2C of the European Communities (Isle of Man) Act 1973. 1 Title This Order is the European Union (Terrorism Sanctions and Miscellaneous Amendments) Order 2020. 2 Commencement This Order comes into operation immediately after it is made1. 3 Application of EU instruments (1) Subject to paragraph (4) and the modifications set out in Schedule 1, Council Regulation (EC) No 2580/20012 of 27 December 2001 on specific restrictive measures directed against certain persons and entities with a view to combatting terrorism (“Regulation 2580/2001”), as modified by the following, applies as part of the law of the Island — (a) Commission Regulation (EC) No 745/20033 of 28 April 2003; (b) Commission Regulation (EC) No 1207/20054 of 27 July 2005; (c) Commission Regulation (EC) No 1957/20055 of 29 November 2005; 1 An order made under section 2A of the European Communities (Isle of Man) Act 1973 shall be laid before Tynwald as soon as practicable after it is made, and if Tynwald at the Das Festival ist aber mehr als ein Filmfest. Es gründet im Wunsch nach kultureller Verständigung und einem verstärkten Austausch zwischen der iranischen und der schweizerischen Kultur. Es bedient sich dafür der universellen Sprache des Films und schlägt damit eine Brücke zwischen den Kulturen. Die bisherige Entwicklung des Iranischen Film Festivals spricht eine deutliche Sprache und zeigt das Potenzial des Anlasses. Die von Jahr zu Jahr steigenden Besuchszahlen belegen das Interesse der Zürcherinnen und Zürcher am iranischen Film und an der iranischen Kultur.
