The Department of Public Parks of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has enriched diversity and species of animals at the Al Khor Park Zoo. The park has been supported by adding new species of rare and attractive animals such as chimpanzees, Moroccan ram and Australian ostriches. Mohamed Ali Al Khoury, director of Public Parks Department, said the process of enriching the diversity of animals in the park will continue. He said the zoo will be supplied with attractive species of rare and endangered species from around the world after completion of the current cages adjustment process to ensure their survival and reproduction.
