REGULAR MEETING OF THE VILLAGE BOARD OF THE VILLAGE OF LAKE DELTON PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the public and to the news media pursuant to Section 19.84 Wis. Stats, that the REGULAR MEETING OF THE VILLAGE BOARD OF THE VILLAGE OF LAKE DELTON will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021, at 4:00 P.M. at the Kay C. Mackesey Administration Building in the Village of Lake Delton, Sauk County, Wisconsin, and the following items will appear on the agenda: AGENDA 1. Call to order and certify compliance with the open meeting law 2. Adopt meeting agenda 3. Citizen Appearances (discussion only) 4. Ratify the action taken at the Regular Meeting of the Village Board held on December 14, 2020 as delivered 5. Reports: a. Police Department by Police Chief Daniel Hardman b. Public Works Department by Director Gary Hansen c. Water Department by Operator Troy Locken d. Delton Fire Department by Fire Chief Darren Jorgenson e. Zoning Department by Assistant Zoning Administrator Jeremy Peach i. Review and take action on request for Enlargement of Existing Deck at 670 E Hiawatha Dr, Waterfront Commercial District ii. Review and take action on conversion of an existing duplex to a single-family dwelling at 735 Canyon Rd f. Engineers update by John Langhans 6. Review and take whatever action deemed appropriate on a CSM submitted by GEC/Steven and Katherine Zowin Revocable Living Trust, All of Lots 1 thru 6, Part of Lots 7 & 8, all of Lots 9 thru 16 and part of Lot 17 of Block 40 of Norris Village, and Part of the NW1/4 SW1/4 and NE1/4 SW1/4 of Section 21, T13N, R6E, Village of Lake Delton, Sauk County Wisconsin 7. Review and Take whatever action necessary regarding the Task Orders for ongoing general services for 2021 as presented by MSA professional services 8. Hold discussion and take whatever action deemed appropriate on a monetary contribution toward the construction of a Multi-Use Path along Clara Ave, in the Town of Delton, to connect the Delton Path to the Dells Path 9. Take action on the applications for Operator’s Licenses applied for by and issued to Ashley Beschta and Whitney Biebesheimer expiring 6/30/2021 10. Payment of claims 11. Mackesey Clerk-Treasurer-Coordinator REGULAR MEETING OF THE VILLAGE BOARD OF THE VILLAGE OF LAKE DELTON December 14, 2020 Upon giving proper notice pursuant to Section 19.84 Wis Stats, and certifying compliance with the open meeting law, the Regular Meeting of the Village Board of the Village of Lake Delton was called to order on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 4:00 PM at the Kay C Mackesey Administration Building. Present were President John Webb; Trustees Tom Diehl, Merije Ajvazi, Cary Brandt, Joe Eck, Leslie Bremer and Bernadette Starzyk attending via video conferencing. Others attending were Attorney Richard Cross, Assistant Zoning Administrator Jeremy Peach, Engineer John Langhans, Police Chief Dan Hardman, Fire Chief Darren Jorgenson, Water Operator Troy Locken, Zander Brandt, Dan Bullock, Joe Bradley and the news media. Motion by Trustee Ajvazi, Second by Trustee Brandt for adoption of the meeting agenda. Motion carried. There were no citizen appearances. Motion by Trustee Eck, Second by Trustee Bremer to ratify the action taken at the Regular Meeting of the Village Board held on November 9, 2020 and Special Meetings of the Village Board held on November 23, 2020 and December 7, 2020 as delivered. Motion by Trustee Diehl, Second by Trustee Bremer to approve the Room Tax Fund Operating Budget for 2021. Motion carried. Motion by Trustee Eck, Second by Trustee Brandt to approve the Premier Resort Tax Fund Operating Budget for 2021. Motion carried. Police Chief Dan Hardman presented his report for the Police Department. Public Works Director Gary Hansen was not in attendance, but submitted his report. Water Operator Troy Locken presented his report for the Water Department. Fire Chief Darren Jorgenson presented his report on the activities of the Fire Department. Assistant Zoning Administrator Jeremy Peach reported on the activities of the Zoning Department. Motion by Trustee Bremer, Second by Trustee Ajvazi to approve the application of Joe Bradley, 900 E Hiawatha Drive, to construct a 24’ x 28’ garage in Waterfront Commercial District. Motion carried. Motion by Trustee Brandt, Second by Trustee Eck to approve the CSM submitted by Tommy Bartlett Inc. / Grothman & Associates Land Surveyors for general location being Lots 1 and 2, CSM No. 2971 as recorded in Vol 13 of the C.S.M.S. Pages 2971 and 2971A as Document No. 604891, Lots 11 and 12, Part of Vacated alley, Block 18, part of vacated Ravine Street, all located in the SE1/4 of the NW1/4, and the SW1/4 of the NE1/4 Section 21, T. 12 N. R. 6 E. Village of Lake Delton, Sauk County Wisconsin. Containing 275,400 SQ.FT. - 6.32 Acres, as recommended by MSA Professional Services contingent on proceeding with the Conditional Use Permit process as called for by ordinance. Motion carried. Motion by Trustee Brandt, Second by Trustee Ajvazi to approve the Task Order submitted by MSA Professional Services for update of the current Comprehensive Plan. Motion carried. Motion by Trustee Eck, Second by Trustee Bremer to approve the applications for Operator’s Licenses applied for by and issued to Ivy Hawley, Randal Grap, Debra Susan Janke, Aaron Joel- Bruce Stewart and Lisa Johnson expiring 6/30/2021. Motion carried. Motion by Trustee Brandt, Second by Trustee Ajvazi for payment of claims as presented. Motion carried. There were no other matters authorized by law and there were no items submitted to be considered at future Village Board Meetings. Motion by Trustee Diehl, Second by Trustee Brandt to adjourn. Parks, Covid -19 took a toll on the 60.00 DPW crew , myself and 7 of Sewer, 181.00 the 8 crew members tested positive for the virus which affected productivity for the month of December because of crew members being Streets, 225.00 quarantined.
