Xbox One – Legacy Rock Band DLC Bundles (Packs) Some of our players have been experiencing issue with our legacy Rock Band DLC bundles (or packs from the legacy Rock Band era) where they were not entitled to download the bundle itself. This has now been fixed on Xbox One! Here’s how it will affect different users: If you previously purchased any bundle from legacy Rock Band titles and already re-downloaded the singles within that bundle to Rock Band 4 , nothing changes ! You are entitled to all singles you have already re-downloaded. If you previously purchased any bundle from legacy Rock Band titles but have not yet re-downloaded that content, you are now able to locate the bundle name and re-download the entire bundle in one simplified process (provided that content has been made available as a bundle)! As a reminder, if you see any bundles that you have previously (or recently) purchased showing up with a price and prompting you to re-purchase the content, don’t re-purchase ! We are continuing to work with Microsoft to make all bundle content available and priced correctly. PlayStation 4 – Rock Band 4 DLC Not Visible In-Game (SCEA) We've come to the conclusion that this may not be an entitlement issue, but rather a content delivery issue. If you recently attempted to re- download your legacy Rock Band DLC via the in-game Rock Band 4 Music Store OR the PlayStation Network store, you may not see some of this content in-game. We have a temporary workaround while we continue to work on a solution to this issue. Here’s what you can do to get some of your legacy Rock Band DLC in Rock Band 4 : Quit Rock Band 4 From the PlayStation 4 Main Menu, scroll to the right and select Library Select Games Select Rock Band 4 Scroll down and select " My Add-Ons " From here, you will see all DLC products associated with your account that are installed. They are indicated with the word “Installed”. Those that were installed but are not visible will NOT display this word. Select the down arrow (the install icon on the PlayStation 4) and the content should install. The PlayStation 4 will then notify you that the content has been installed and indicate this with the word “Installed” next to the product. Back out to the PlayStation 4 Main Menu Startup Rock Band 4 again This content should now be visible in your Rock Band 4 library! If you receive an error message while attempting to install these products, you must first restore your licenses to proceed. To navigate to this option: Select Settings Select the PlayStation Network Store Select Restore Licenses Hit OK! Once complete, check back to your download queue. Re-install the affected content by selecting the content again and this should solve the issue. Make sure you re-install through your Downloads (navigate to Notifications , then select Downloads ) and NOT your “My Add-Ons” section to make sure your console recognizes this content! This means that for those of you who are attempting to purchase or re-download this pack, it is now available to you once you restore your license to the product. From your PlayStation 4 Main Menu: Select Settings Select PlayStation Network Store Select Restore Licenses Hit OK! You should then see the Queen Pack 01 product in the in-game Rock Band Music Store and can download this content as intended! The Rock Band Blitz Soundtrack is also believed to be fixed at this time. For users that bought the full game of Rock Band Blitz on PlayStation 3, you should now be able to download this content in Rock Band 4 . Here’s how you can re-download Rock Band Blitz : On your PlayStation 4, navigate to the PlayStation Network Store Search for ' Rock Band Blitz Soundtrack ' The pack should appear in your search without a price and prompt you to " Install " the content. Pressing that Install button will now give you eligibility to re-download the individual songs within the Rock Band Blitz soundtrack from the store (first-party or in-game). While much of the “Rock Band” legacy DLC has made its way to the PlayStation 4, many users are still having issues downloading all of their songs. One of the biggest problems is the game telling you that a song has already been purchased, but when you go to re-download it, you’re met with a “No Content Found” message. Luckily, the men and women of Harmonix have come up with a workaround that should fix the problem. While the fix is only temporary, Harmonix promises that they’re working a permanent solution. What DLC Songs Will Work? We've got a huge list of DLC Songs that should work with Rock Band 4. Will I Have to Pay An Import Fee? What About Using My Old Instruments? We're not sure yet. Because previous and current-generation consoles use different wireless protocols, there's no established solution for using old instruments. Harmonix hopes to address this with adapters attached to the console designed to receive last-gen instrument signals. Will Rock Band Be Annualized? That's not the plan according to Harmonix. Instead, they'll keep updating Rock Band 4 throughout the console generation with new DLC content. Band in a Box Software bundle. The band in a box software bundle is a hardware bundle complete with: Copy of Rock Band 4 Wireless Drum kit Wireless Fender Stratorcaster Guitar Controller Usb Mic. The Amazon listing for The bundle also leaked an October 6, 2015 release date for Rock band 4. The band in a box bundle wil cost $249.99 USD and is currently available for pre-order on amazon now. Success: Pick Up 83 'Rock Band 4' Songs Via 'Rock Band 3' Export on PS4 & Xbox One Right Now. Finally, after months of talk about 'Rock Band 3,' a game which had never before had its songs exported into another, Harmonix has delivered on making the 83 songs from 'Rock Band 3' exportable to 'Rock Band 4.' The export first hit the PS4, but now the Xbox One is on board. That just leaves the PS4 in Europe as waiting for the 'Rock Band 3' export. (Hopefully, that will happen later this week.) To achieve the export, PS4 players will need to have played 'Rock Band 3' on the PS3 and Xbox One players will need to have played 'Rock Band 3' on the 360. Harmonix will verify that players have done this, and when eligible, players will become able to purchase the export key. (I used the digital 360 version, but having a disc copy for the PS3/360 and the same profile should be enough.) There is not any special code involved. The only place to purchase the export key is via the in-game "Get More Songs" area of 'Rock Band 4.' (It's the 'Rock Band 3' spot at the bottom of the list.) The 'Rock Band 3' export costs $14.99 (plus tax). Once purchased, all 83 tracks should become available to download. From Harmonix, here are the export instructions: HOW TO EXPORT ROCK BAND 3 ON PLAYSTATION®4 (SCEA) NOTE: Please make sure that you have a stable internet connection and are logged into the profile that owns Rock Band 3. 1. Start Rock Band 4. 2. Navigate to “Get More Songs”. 3. Scroll down to the new tab, “Exports”. 4. Select “Rock Band 3”. 5. Select “RB3 Disc Export Pack”. 6. If you have been verified, you will be taken through to a first-party purchase screen to complete the Rock Band 3 export. 7. Once you have purchased the export pack, you should see a confirmation screen that you have successfully purchased the Rock Band 3 export pack. From here, you will be able to download each individual single from the pack of 83 tracks. Press the white arrow located next to each track to begin the download process. 8. Once complete, navigate to your song library. The exported Rock Band 3 tracks should be available in your song library to play! Be sure to restart Rock Band 4 if you do not see your recently downloaded tracks in-game immediately. 9. You can always navigate to the "Add-Ons" section of Rock Band 4 in the Main Menu to download any individual tracks you did not initially download from the purchase completion screen. Verification Process: We have implemented an automated process where we verify that your profile is entitled to purchase the Rock Band 3 export key. You are entitled to purchase the Rock Band 3 export key if you own Rock Band 3, either as a physical or digital copy, in the same console family. If the automated process does not work for you, and you feel like you are unfairly being denied the export key, please reach out to our customer service at the time of export. Personally, this export makes a huge difference, and those 83 songs should be a boon to any 'Rock Band 4' owner. If you like to sing, you’re in luck. We’ve completely revamped the singing game, adding a new feature called Freestyle Vocals. Freestyle Vocals rewards you with a points bonus for improvising – as long as you are singing in the key of the song, you’re good! It’s a great feature for people that like to sing. Classic band gameplay with new twists. We’ve updated all the major modes of play, from the classic QuickPlay mode, to a new ‘Shows’ mode that introduces dynamic setlist voting (never lose friends over what song to play next again), to the revamped campaign.
