Final Details of Council of the Federation Summer Meeting in on August 4-6, 2010

WINNIPEG, July 28, 2010 – Please note the following final details regarding the 2010 Summer Meeting of the Council of the Federation (COF) taking place in Winnipeg from August 4 to 6, 2010.

Media Registration

Media representatives who wish to attend the 2010 Council of the Federation Summer Meeting must be accredited. A photo-ID badge will be provided to all accredited media at the media registration desk during the following hours:

Media Centre – Provencher Ballroom, Hotel 222 Broadway, Winnipeg

Wednesday, August 4: 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm Thursday, August 5: 8:00 am – 7:00 pm Friday, August 6: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm

Media Centre

A Media Centre will be located in the Provencher Ballroom (Lobby level) of the Fort Garry Hotel. This room will be equipped with Internet access, power outlets and television monitors.

Parking

For those media representatives staying at the Inn at the Forks, the hotel offers underground parking for $10/day. Should you require outdoor parking for large trucks, there is an outdoor parking lot located at the back of the hotel. As parking is limited at the Fort Garry Hotel, we encourage use of the shuttle service.
