Age groupings may be mixed or gender specific as determined by Football Brisbane. Age Group Year of Birth qualification Under 10 Players attaining the age of 10 years in registration year Under 9 Players attaining the age of 9 years in registration year All divisions in the age groups 9 to 10 years will play under the Rooball Rules as listed in Appendix A. Players should compete in their own age group wherever numbers permit and must still be registered in accordance with current FFA and Football Brisbane regulations.

These activities provide for the personal growth of the students by developing individual skills, teamwork, leadership, friendship, understanding, decision-making and self-discipline in an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment. This in turn benefits curriculum performance and school behaviour and helps build a real sense of community. Note that silver/light gray is not a legal uniform color. Headbands / NFHS Rule 3‐5‐4b: Headbands shall be a maximum of 2 inches wide. As directed by the OSAA Sports Medicine Advisory Committee, players wearing “Concussion Headbands” shall have a documented OSAA exception. Athletic Directors shall forward these requests to Kyle Stanfield along with a note from an appropriate medical professional supporting the student wearing the equipment and a photo of the headband. Players will comply with coaches’ instructions at all times. Players not adhering to this are subject to immediate termination from the team. WHO CAN TRY OUT FOR THIS TEAM?: All students with a minimum GPA of 2.0 and a completed, current physical may try out for the team (A PHYSICAL LASTS FOR ONE CALENDAR YEAR; IF YOU GOT A PHYSICAL FOR SWIM TEAM BACK IN THE SUMMER, IT WILL STILL BE GOOD FOR WATER POLO). All paperwork must be completely filled out and notarized before practice with the team may occur. A sports physical may be obtained at most walk-in medical centers, but make sure that the doctor uses the FHSAA Physical form.
