‘CITIZEN JANE’ CAST BIOS ALLY SHEEDY (Jane Alexander) – Ally Sheedy’s first major role came in 1983’s “War Games,” but it was as part of the iconic ‘Brat Pack’ films “The Breakfast Club” and “St. Elmo’s Fire,” which perfectly captured the teenage angst of the time that thrust her from ‘actress’ to ‘pop culture icon,’ a label that has endured to this day, thanks in no small part to the enduring characters she created in those films. In 1999, she earned The Independent Spirit, Los Angeles Film Critics and National Society of Film Critics Awards for her role as Lucy Berliner in “High Art.” Other independent films include “I’ll take You There,” written and directed by Adrienne Shelly, “Sugartown,” written and directed by Allison Anders, “One Night Stand,” written and directed by Talia Shire, “Day Zero,” “The Autumn Heart,” “Harold,” “Steam,” with Ruby Dee, “Welcome to the Rileys,” directed by Jake Scott, and the upcoming film “Life During Wartime” written and directed by Todd Solondz. Since then, Flannery has starred in a number of feature films, such as "The Grass Harp," "Simply Irresistible," "Suicide Kings," the cult hit "The Boondock Saints" and "Body Shots." From 2002 – 2007, Flanery walked on the dark side as politician Greg Stinson, opposite Anthony Michael Hall in USA Network’s “The Dead Zone,” based on the Stephen King novel.
