Then on May 2004 Appointed with Jordan National lines for ship operation as Deputy General Manager (JNLSO). Then Promoted to General Manager.

JNLSO is a joint venture between Salam International Transport & Trading Co. PLC (SITTCO) and Jordan National Shipping lines (JNSL), the latter being a vital player in the Jordanian Maritime industry established in 1976.

JNLSO main activity is operation of cargo vessels and creating business opportunities by canvassing and booking cargo, and finding suitable alternative solutions; transporting all types of project cargoes, and any type of break bulk parcels, and the carriage of bulk products, steel products, foodstuff and wood products, offering customers a comprehensive coverage of east-west corridors.

JNLSO is adept to safely and committed to quality, while maintaining high quality safety standards for the environment. It focuses on its customers, setting their benefits first, and fulfilling their expectations.

Sea Service Experience:

I have sailed on board Fourty (40) vessels at different size and type, since 1979 - up to year 2000 from deck cadet up to master in full command, and then nominated to shore position as Director of Break Bulk Department at Salam International Transport and Trading Plc (SITTCO). In charge of chartering and operation activities since June 2000 for owned /chartered vessels fleet.

During sea service period, I had a very wide range of experience in the following specialized areas:

- Safe and efficient loading, stowage and discharging of cargoes on merchant ships at various international worldwide ports. Loading and discharging cargo while at anchor. - Updating and correction of charts and other navigational information. - Pilotage and ship handling in confined waters. - Use of radar and other electronic and visual aids to navigation for position fixing at sea and collision avoidance. - Ship maintenance, making efficient use of human and material resources. - Dry-docking procedures and practices, entering confined spaces. - Ship's hull and equipment survey procedures. - Ship business. - Shipboard damage control, firefighting, lifeboat drills and emergency procedures. - cooperation with stevedores and handling stevedore damages to (ship & cargo) - Use of Container loadmaster and Container planning for over 2000 TEU's for about 12 ports load/discharging in every voyage. - Dealing with oil pollution matters. - Salvage and life survival at sea - Tug operation during berthing / Un berthing of ships. - Wide knowledge of container operation. - Wide experience in dealing with line or tramp agents. - Wide experience in practicing with time and voyage charterers - Wide experience in delivery and redelivery of ships new purchase and bareboat to and from charterers or owners. - Crew training on board ships.
