ESPO may supply goods and provide services to a “public body”, as defined in the Local Authorities (Goods and Services) Act 1970 (as amended) (“the Act”), i.e.: any local authority, any police and crime commissioner, any housing action trust established under Part III of the Housing Act 1988, any probation trust, any organisation that has received public body designation under the Act through secondary legislation, any parish council and representative body of a rural parish.
