Overall, these were decent stories, but nothing that makes the Spiderverse go 'round. I absolutely loved this run, and I think this was all that was missing to make my reading list complete. The last one involves Mysterio ripoff and Otto going after to discover the Original Hobgoblin selling get ups to pretenders, we saw in SSM. This also more interestingly involves a run in with Punisher where he tells Spidey not to cross the line with violence, which is different Superior Spider-Man Team-Up: Friendly Fire it's Otto. There's an issue of Daredevil and Superior Spidey Annual that have previously been printed elsewhere though, so some will have already read them. These Superior Team Up books are cool because it gives a chance for Otto-Spidey to interact with people he didn't meet in the main book. Also pretty sure he's building a new Sinister Six? If you loved Superior Spidey I guess you could give it a shot? But you're really not missing much. Over in the main Superior book, halfway through the series, Doc Ock starts his own business and changes his uniform. The issues of Avenging Superior Spider-Man Team-Up: Friendly Fire and Daredevil happen before this change and the annual happens after. But the ann Here's another one where the collection editor couldn't be bothered with continuity within the collection. But the annual is the opening story in the collection. I don't have a summary of the plot. I was too annoyed to even pay attention. Otto's adventures as Spidey continue and they're so much fun. The subplot from the last volume is continued here with the payoff coming in a new series. The idea that Superior Spider-Man Team-Up: Friendly Fire cares about how Parker's loved one perceive him is more than just self-care, its genuine and very interesting. I wish the Chameleon story was given more time to breathe but the overall but was still very good. Review of Friendly Fire This was an interesting read. I find the Superior Spider-Man's attitude and personality to be quite different in an almost of setting kind of way, Superior Spider-Man Team-Up: Friendly Fire the story keeps me very intrigued. The underlying plot of Superior Spider-Man interacting Superior Spider-Man Team-Up: Friendly Fire the ex-Sinister-Six is a cool one, but it's such a slow burn that you don't get much sense Superior Spider-Man Team-Up: Friendly Fire plot advancement. It's a little confusing though as the SSM Annual is included here which came out later on in the year after all the events otherwise contained including a footnote reference to SSM Team Up 6 which is out of continuity. Still, the Blackout story was nicely handled with some great Aunt May moments.
