‘THREE WEEKS, THREE KIDS’

CAST BIOS

ANNA CHLUMSKY (Jennifer) – entered show business at a young age, starting as a model with her mother in an advertisement. Although perhaps best known for playing Vada Sultenfuss alongside Dan Akyroyd and Macaulay Caulkin in the 1991 movie “My Girl,” and it’s sequel “” in 1994, Chlumsky refused to be typecast, adding a long list of theatre, television and film credits to her resume in the past decade.

After a brief hiatus from acting to attend the University of , Chlumsky ultimately decided to return to the stage and screen, receiving formal training at the Atlantic Acting School in . Chlumsky’s stage credits include Love, Loss, and What I Wore for the Westside Theatre, So Help Me God, Unconditional for Philip Seymour Hoffman's theater group LAByrinth Theater Company, The Fabulous Life of a Size Zero, Darwin in Malibu at the Bay Street Theatre, The Butcherhouse Chronicles for the Summer Play Festival, Balm in Gilead for the Barefoot Theater Company, Half Life, Iphigeneia at Aulis, Measure for Measure, No Alarms: Headfullofradio and The Trojan Women.

A winner of four Young Actor Awards, and an MTV Movie Award, Chlumsky is no stranger to the small screen. Her varied television credits include: “Covert Affairs”, the CBS pilots “The Quinn- Tuplets” and “House Rules,” the ABC dramedy “Cupid,” a guest-star role on NBC’s hit comedy “," “Law & Order,” “Eight Days a Week” and “Twelve Men of Christmas.” Chlumsky’s latest project has landed her in the White House in HBO’s comedy “,” starring opposite Julia Louis-Dreyfus, set to premiere just in time for the 2012 Presidential elections.

Chlumsky has also been in several feature films, including “,” “The Good Guy,” “Blood Car,” “Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain,” “A Child’s Wish” and the Glamour Reel short “Wait.” Most recently, she starred in “My Sweet Misery,” “Eavesdrop” and “The Pill.”

WARREN CHRISTIE (Will) – Warren Christie was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, but spent most of his childhood in , Ontario. He left London for Windsor after being recruited to play college football. It was during these years that Christie developed his love for performing and decided to pursue it as a career. This decision led him to , where his rugged good looks and keen acting ability quickly landed him desirable leading roles.

From 2005 to 2007, Christie had a lead role on the ABC series “October Road,” playing a cocky construction company owner. From 2007 to present, Christie has worked on several TV pilots including “The Prince of Motor City,” “House Rules” and most recently ’s “.” He also had a recurring role on the ABC series “Happy Town’’ as well as guest starring roles on “Flashpoint” and “Supernatural.” Christie also starred opposite Henry Winkler and in the Original Movie “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.” (more)

Christie’s ability to embody diverse characters is evident in the variety of roles that he takes on and masters. He played opposite Heather Graham in the romantic comedy "Gray Matters," and then switched gears with his next project, the psychological thriller "Beneath," which is produced by the group responsible for "Napoleon Dynamite" in conjunction with MTV Films/Paramount Classics. Most recently, Christie starred opposite Reese Witherspoon and Chris Pine, playing Reese’s ex in the feature “This Means War.”

Christie’s future plans include continuing to pursue character driven roles in Canadian and American films.

CHELAH HORSDAL (Mandy) – is a native Vancouverite born into a wildly creative family. Avoiding the large shoes of her artist father, Canadian folk legend Valdy, Horsdal took the scenic route to her chosen craft of acting. After dabbling in modeling and acting straight out of high school, Horsdal’s desire to travel took her to Southeast Asia, India, Australia and Europe. Odd jobs in restaurants, publishing, design and event production supported her newfound hobby of performing. In 2002 Horsdal stopped splitting career focus and found her place by committing with conviction to life as an actor. She then began intense training with Larry Moss, Ivana Chubbuck, John Cassini and Ben Ratner, and attended the Lyric School of Acting.

Horsdal has since appeared in over 75 commercials, multiple films and TV series. She recently wrapped a supporting lead in Lifetime’s “The Client List,” costarring with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Cybil Sheppard. She also had back-to-back lead roles in the television movies “Lying To Be Perfect” and “Debbie Macomber’s Mrs. Miracle.” Additional credits include leads on the feature “Burning Mussolini,” ’s “Gym Teacher: The Movie,” co-starring Christopher Meloni and Amy Sedaris, “Flirting With Forty” with Heather Locklear and the FOX TV pilot “The Virgin of Akron, Ohio.”

Supporting leads include “AVP2: Requiem” for 20th Century Fox and “Possession” alongside , as well as “Elegy” with Sir and Penelope Cruz and the upcoming movie, “Caesar: Rise Of The Ape’s,” with and James Falco. Her performance in the short film “Dark Room” garnered her a Leo Award nomination for Best Performance.

Recurring roles include the critically acclaimed “Battlestar Galactica,” “Exes & Ohs,” “,” “Stargate: SG1,” “Saved,” “DaVinci’s Inquest,” “Whistler” and, most recently, “Blackstone.” Horsdal has also had numerous guest starring roles, including her most recent role on the CW’s “.”

With a talent working under the lights and in front of the lens, Horsdal continues to strive forward to the next challenge. # # # (more)

SUSAN HOGAN (Kathryn) – Canadian-born Susan Hogan is a Leo Award nominated actress who has had roles in the 1980s crime drama, “Night Heat,” “Family Passions,” and, more recently, Showtime’s “The L Word” and “Battlestar Galactica” for SyFy. Hogan has also had guest starring spots on ABC’s “Men in Trees,” Fox’s “Millenium,” CW’s “Life Unexpected,” “Bionic Woman” and “The Outer Limits.”

Hogan has appeared in three Lifetime television movies, “Ashes to Ashes,” “It Was One of Us” and “Cleaverville,” in addition to starring in the made-for-television movies “Liar, Liar,” “No Greater Love,” and the Hallmark Channel Original Movie “Lies Between Friends,” among others.

Hogan received a Leo nomination for Best Supporting Performance by a Female for the 2005 film, “Marker.” She has also had roles in “Butterfly Effect 2,” “Every Second Tuesday,” “Everything’s Gone Green,” “Rupert’s Land,” for which she received a second Leo nomination for Best Actress, and “White Fang.”

Hogan met her husband, Michael Hogan, at the National Theatre School of Canada, and they have three children.

TIERA SKOVBYE (Alice) – Tiera Skovbye’s acting career began at the age of seven, when she was scouted by her current agent at the Children’s Festival in Vancouver. After several commercial bookings, Skovbye eventually landed her first lead role in a series of children’s DVDs by Warner Home Entertainment, “Mckids Adventures.” This gradually led to roles in television including the acclaimed series “Supernatural,” “Kaya,” “The Troop” and a recurring role as Young Jane in the series “Painkiller Jane.”

More recently, Skovbye just wrapped an episode of a new series for The Hub Network, “The Haunting Hour.” She plays the lead role of Anna in the episode titled “Dead Body.” Skovbye has had recent success on the movie front as well, booking lead roles in “Deadlines,” which filmed in Montreal.

Skovbye has always had a love for theatre and has studied many of Shakespeare’s plays as a young Shakespearean at Bard on the Beach, working with an impressive array of acting coaches and mentors. Given her height and natural beauty, Skovbye was scouted by a modeling agency in 2008, a career that has landed her a string of big campaigns for various designers and photographers, and taken her around the globe to New York and Japan.

Skovbye currently attends high school in Vancouver where she is an honor roll student. In addition to her first love of performing, she also has a great love of dance and sports, including volleyball and basketball.

JAKOB DAVIES (Miles) – Newcomer Jakob Davies can already be proud of the list of credits to his name, including half a dozen commercials for national brands such as Dannon, General Electric, Toyota, and Fisher Price.

Based out of Vancouver, Davies has just wrapped three feature films, including “The Tall Man,” alongside Jessica Biel, a principal role in “Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2” for Warner Bros., and “This Means War.” He has also had a recurring role on the hit CW drama “,” and can be seen in the movie-of-the week “True Blue” and the Hallmark Channel Original Movie “A Family Thanksgiving.”

SYDNEY STAMLER (Flo) - Sydney Stamler has been in the film and television business since the age of 6 year old. Stamler has been very busy working on feature films and movies of the week including the Hallmark Channel Original Movie “Comes Dance at My Wedding.

When not in front of the camera, Stamler enjoys musical theatre, jazz and tap dancing!
