8 Baatcheet December 2019 INDO-PAK WAR : 1971 EASTERN FRONT The Battle of Atgram Complex, fought between the 5 Gorkha Rifles and 31 Punjab (Pak Army) was one of the first engagements between the two opposing forces. Thus, Parbhat Dairy in village Mohol (Solapur District) was planned and established with the help of his son, a veterinary doctor. He spent almost his entire life’s savings in the project and employed needy people from adjoining areas. The dairy plant in its present form boasts of processing 3500 litres of milk daily with a turnover of almost Rs 30 lakhs per annum and has provided employment to dozens of locals, improving their lives.
