The Gettysburg Brass Band Festival provides a performance opportunity for bands from all over the country, provides a reason for people to visit Gettysburg and strives to improve the quality of life in our town. #50 Healthy Adams Bicycle/Pedestrian, Inc. (HABPI) HABPI is an all-volunteer organization. We promote bicycling and walking for healthy exercise & travel.

HABPI is working with local governments and organizations to build a pedestrian and bicycling trail in and around the Gettysburg Borough called the Gettysburg Inner Loop (GIL). This trail will make it easier and safer for residents to exercise, improve their health, and travel to local destinations like businesses, schools, the Post Office, the Rec Park, and the battlefield. Money is needed to match state grants for building the trail. HABPI is also working with the Gettysburg Area Recreation Authority and the Gettysburg National Military Park to create an off-road trail from Gettysburg to Emmitsburg, MD, as part of the Grand History Trail.

Regular walking or bicycling is a great way to improve your health while enjoying the outdoors!

• Mission of Mercy has served Adams Co. residents since 1994 providing free healthcare, dental care and medications to the uninsured sick and suffering. • We do not receive government funding; rather we rely on contributions from individuals, businesses and foundations in the community and special events like the Adams County Giving Spree. We also receive in-kind support from volunteer healthcare professionals, churches and hospital partnerships. • Gifts from the Giving Spree will support Mission of Mercy’s Gettysburg Clinics. • Mission of Mercy is a registered charity and 501 (c)(3) organization.
