(3-2; 2-2 GLIAC) AT HEAD COACH JEFF PIERCE: Jeff Pierce is in his ninth season at Ferris State and has a current 57-36- 0 career record. Pierce holds the distinction of having the second-best winning percentage (.613) MICHIGAN TECH HUSKIES in the program’s history. The 1995 GLIAC Coach-of-the-Year is four wins shy of becoming FSU’s (1-4; 1-4 GLIAC) winningest coach and would surpass Keith Otterbein (60-39-0, 1986-94). Under Pierce, the KICKOFF: 1 p.m. (EDT) Bulldogs have won or shared three GLIAC titles while earning back-to-back (1995-96) berths in the STADIUM/SURFACE: Sherman Field NCAA Division II National Championship Playoffs, including a semifinal-round appearance in ‘95. Covering the Panthers PRESS BOX The UNI-Dome press box is located on the east side above the east stands. Use northeast or southeast revolving doors. Admittance by press credentials only. The press box seats 85 with two booths for coaches of competing teams. PRIVILEGES PRESS: Only working press will be seated in the working area closest to the 50-yard line. Only press and scout people with advance notice will be allowed access to the press box, unless space is available. Radio: Radio stations will be assigned broadcast space upon re quest for permission to broadcast. Stations should make own arrangements for telephone hookup and private telephone. (Three main press box phones are available for use.) Photographers: Photographers will be issued press passes allowing them on the sidelines or in the press box in designated photo area. IRVING, Texas (April 10, 2019) - The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced today the members of the 2019 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players from all divisions of play who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers. An all-time high of 1,643 players from a record 424 schools qualified for membership in the society’s 13th year. Nominated by their respective schools, members of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society must have: • Completed their final year of playing eligibility in 2018; o Graduated players, who have remaining eligibility but will not return to collegiate play (e.g. declared for NFL Draft or retired from football), may also be nominated. • Achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average throughout entire course of undergraduate study; and • Met all NCAA- or NAIA-mandated progress toward degree requirements. • Been starters or significant contributors throughout the 2018 season.
