My kids live in the car. Our church and school are both 45 minutes away. We live in the country, so we have to drive quite a distance to get to most activities, too. We drive to grandma and grandpa’s house. We drive to see cousins and other relatives. Even the grandkids have learned how to travel in grandma’s car without complaint. My big secret? Keep them entertained. Take toys, games, movies, music, or what- ever it is that your child enjoys. Usually when I make long trips, I make sure to have Legos, puzzles, video games, DVDs, and a million other items of entertainment. I love DVDs for long trips. We sing all of the songs as we drive along.
