2 Rio 2016: Maracana Stadium
• The Maracana soccer venue, center, and the Maracanazinho volleyball arena are shown in a computer ‐ generated photo illustration • Maracana Stadium, built in 1950, will be upgraded for the 2014 World Cup before converting to the site of the opening and closing ceremonies two years later.
