The delightful adventures of two soft, puppet-like aliens – a brother and sister – who come to explore planet Earth in their steam powered spaceship and, in Series One, land in a zoo. Amazed by what they see, they scoot around in hover-chairs on a mission to discover all the exotic creatures that live there.

THE WOTWOTS wonder who they are, and what they’ll look like when they are fully grown adults. Will they look like one of the zoo animals outside?

The discoveries continue in Series Two when they land on a farm and meet the strange and friendly farm animals, and then travel to the sea shore and explore the weird and wonderful creatures that live on the beach and in the sea.

DottyWot, the sister, is the more patient and considered of the two. She pilots the ship and operates its computer through a musical keyboard. She is supportive of her boisterous brother, though he does test her patience. At times she is a little too bold, but her delight with life is infectious.

SpottyWot, her brother, is more impulsive. He prefers to leap first and ask questions later. He has a full-throttle enthusiasm for everything he does, but is always considerate towards his sister and will listen to her words of wisdom - if he stops to think about them. SpottyWot is also a wonderful and inventive artist; he has a big whiteboard and likes to express his ideas with imaginative drawings.

From the creative minds of the Academy Award-winning Weta Workshop (LORD OF THE RINGS, JANE AND THE DRAGON), THE WOTWOTS is a series celebrating the joy of discovery and the strange and extraordinary diversity of life on planet Earth, as seen through the innocent eyes of SpottyWot and DottyWot.
