SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY STANDARDIZED ASSESSMENTS: Wilder Middle School is centrally located in the northwestern part of the Test Grade Administered county. The school was built in 1997. SOL (English-Reading, English-Writing, Mathematics, Science and Civics) 8 Spring ACADEMIC SCHOOL CHARACTERISTICS: SOL (Math, Reading) 6, 7 Spring Wilder Middle School has 4 periods in a day. Math and English are double SOL End-of-Course 7, 8 Spring block classes in all the grade levels that are not in the GYSA program.

GYSA – Gifted Young Scholars Academy is available for grades 6-8 this school year. This is an application based program starting in 6th grade where ATHLETIC TEAMS: gifted scholars have an experience to be mainstreamed in electives and study Football with licensed teachers who understand the gifted scholar. Honor roll reports are generated at the end of each marking period, each semester, and at the end of the year. Certain letter grades (D, F, U, S, or P) exclude students from “Honor Roll” or “All A” reports. KEY TO TRANSCRIPT SYMBOLS AND TITLES: Courses such as Advisory and Innovative are not figured into an honor roll G = course offered 1st semester calculation.
