STATE SENATOR MIKE MORRELL PROUDLY ENDORSES JUDGE STEVEN BAILEY (RET.)
California - Judge Steven Bailey (Ret.) has earned another endorsement from the Inland Empire in the race for California Attorney General.
"I am very proud to have earned the endorsement of Senator Mike Morrell," said Judge Steven Bailey. "Senator Morrell has always fought to protect our neighborhoods, not criminals, and he has always put public safety ahead of politics. As Attorney General, my commitment is to protect California families so we can renew the California dream for everyone."
Senator Mike Morrell came to public service as a small business owner committed to restoring fiscal responsibility and an approach to government that limits government’s power and ranks the citizen above the state. In the Senate, he currently serves on three standing committees: Public Employment and Retirement (Vice Chair); Energy, Utilities, and Communications (Vice Chair); and Banking and Financial Institutions. He is an active member of the community, consistently lending his time and talents to several executive boards, and he was also a key member of the Inland Empire Economic Partnership and the Legislative Committee for the Citrus Valley Association of Realtors. He is a co-founder of the Inland Empire Prayer Breakfast, contributed to Inland Empire leadership for the City of Hope, and acts on the Advisory Board to the Pacific Justice Institute. Mike Morrell and his wife Joanie have been married for over 38 years and have three adult children.
Prior to his time in public office, Mike was an active member of the California Republican Assembly, which recently endorsed Judge Bailey. Senator Morrell's endorsement follows that of another conservative Inland representative, Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez, and represents the fifth endorsement for Judge Steven Bailey from the State Senate. Senators Ted Gaines, Jim Nielsen, John Moorlach, and Joel Anderson have also endorsed Bailey.
