International Conference on Education Technology and Social Science (ICETSS 2014) Research on Cultivation of Creative Class under Industrial Environment Cluster-- Take Cartoon Game Industry as an Example Lie Chen Sichuan University, Chengdu, 610000, China Keywords: cartoon game industry; cluster; creative class; structure Abstract. This research takes Chengdu national-level culture creative industry park as an example to pay attention to the current situation of cluster cultivation of creative class of Chengdu cartoon game industry under cluster environment. Through deep research on typical cartoon culture creativity enterprises, this paper carries out analysis on various factors influencing development of Chengdu professional cartoon creative talents, and proposes the solution for cultivation of creative talents based on the thought of cluster development of creative industry. The concept of industrial cluster firstly appeared in the book The Competitive Advantage of Nations written by Michael E. Porter and published in 1990. So far, as a kind of extremely special industrial organization form, the industrial cluster has gradually become an important economic phenomenon in world economic development. The powerful technology and knowledge overflow effect brought by industrial cluster is widely affecting industrialization and urbanization process of a region and even whole country. The cartoon industry which centers on Sichuan Chengdu is gradually forming Southwest cartoon industry development zone led by games and wireless entertainment. In the development process “from industrial concentration to grouping and cluster”, the spatial arrangement of Chengdu cultural creative industry cluster has basically taken the shape, and the creative class cluster is basically formed. Currently, there are more than 520 software enterprises in Chengdu, including more than 60 online game enterprises.

X, pseudo-inverse functions, which are generalizations of the inverses associated with units of groupoids with identity elements. If classifying the elements u as special of one of twelve types, then it is possible to do a rather detailed analysis of certain cases, leftoids, rightoids and linear groupoids included, which demonstrates that it is possible to develop a successful theory and that a good deal of information has already been obtained with much more possible in the future. Keywords: (completely) (LL-) special element; pseudo inverse; linear groupoid 1. Introduction Bruck [1] published a book, A survey of binary systems discussed in the theory of groupoids, loops and quasigroups, and several algebraic structures. Boru˙ vka [2] stated the theory of decompositions of sets and its application to binary systems. Recently, some interesting results in groupoids were investigated by several researchers [3–6]. Semigroups are in fact the first and simplest type of algebra to which the methods of universal algebra must be applied, and any mathematician interested in universal algebra will find semigroup theory a rewarding study [7].

  • Role of PARP1-Mediated Autophagy in EGFR-TKI Resistance in Non
www.nature.com/scientificreports OPEN Role of PARP1‑mediated autophagy in EGFR‑TKI resistance in non‑small cell lung cancer Zhimin Zhang1,4, Xiaojuan Lian2,4, Wei Xie1, Jin Quan2, Maojun Liao1, Yan Wu3, Zhen‑Zhou Yang3,4* & Ge Wang1,4* Resistance to epidermal growth factor receptor‑tyrosine kinase inhibitors (EGFR‑TKIs) has become the main clinical challenge of advanced lung cancer. This research aimed to explore the role of PARP1‑ mediated autophagy in the progression of TKI therapy. PARP1‑mediated autophagy was evaluated in vitro by CCK‑8 assay, clonogenic assay, immunofuorescence, and western blot in the HCC‑827, H1975, and H1299 cells treated with icotinib (Ico), rapamycin, and AZD2281 (olaparib) alone or in combination. Our results and GEO dataset analysis confrmed that PARP1 is expressed at lower levels in TKI‑sensitive cells than in TKI‑resistant cells. Low PARP1 expression and high p62 expression were associated with good outcomes among patients with NSCLC after TKI therapy. AZD2281 and a lysosomal inhibitor reversed resistance to Ico by decreasing PARP1 and LC3 in cells, but an mTOR inhibitor did not decrease Ico resistance. The combination of AZD2281 and Ico exerted a markedly enhanced antitumor efect by reducing PARP1 expression and autophagy in vivo. Knockdown of PARP1 expression reversed the resistance to TKI by the mTOR/Akt/autophagy pathway in HCC‑827IR, H1975, and H1299 cells. PARP1‑mediated autophagy is a key pathway for TKI resistance in NSCLC cells that participates in the resistance to TKIs. Olaparib may serve as a

  • A Neighbourhood Under Storm Zhabei and Shanghai Wars
European Journal of East Asian Studies EJEAS . () – www.brill.nl/ejea A Neighbourhood under Storm Zhabei and Shanghai Wars Christian Henriot Institut d’Asie orientale, Université de Lyon—Institut Universitaire de France [email protected] Abstract War was a major aspect of Shanghai history in the first half of the twentieth century. Yet, because of the particular political and territorial divisions that segmented the city, war struck only in Chinese-administered areas. In this paper, I examine the fate of the Zhabei district, a booming industrious area that came under fire on three successive occasions. Whereas Zhabei could be construed as a success story—a rag-to-riches, swamp-to-urbanity trajectory—the three instances of military conflict had an increasingly devastating impact, from shaking, to stifling, to finally erase Zhabei from the urban landscape. This area of Shanghai experienced the first large-scale modern warfare in an urban setting. The skirmish established the pattern in which the civilian population came to be exposed to extreme forms of violence, was turned overnight into a refugee population, and lost all its goods and properties to bombing and fires. Keywords war; Shanghai; urban; city; civilian; military War is not the image that first comes to mind about Shanghai. In most accounts or scholarly studies, the city stands for modernity, economic prosperity and cultural novelty. It was China’s main financial centre, commercial hub, indus- trial base and cultural engine. In its modern history, however, Shanghai has experienced several instances of war. One could start with the takeover of the city in by the Small Sword Society and the later attempts by the Taip- ing armies to approach Shanghai.

In this study, we evaluated MCP-induced protein 1 the effects of MCP-induced protein 1 (MCPIP1), a recently discovered inflammation-related ribonuclease, onsepsis- Macrophage polarization induced acute lung injury (ALI) and investigated the underlying mechanisms. Cecal ligation puncture and lipopo- JNK lysaccharide induction were performed on Sprague-Dawley rats and RAW264.7 cells, respectively, to establish sepsis- Sepsis induced ALI models. The proteasome inhibitor MG132 used as an activator of MCPIP1 overexpression, and we Acute lung injury showed that MG132 can indeed increase the expression of MCPIP1. MCPIP1 overexpression induced by MG132 alleviated sepsis-induced pathologic changes, water content and protein leakage in the lungs, and induction of systemic inflammatory mediators, and improved the 7-day mortality rate in the model rats. We also showedthat MCPIP1 p showed romoted macrophage polarization from the M1 to the M2 type in sepsis-induced ALI. Furthermore, MCPIP1-enhanced M2 polarization was inhibited by an MCPIP1-targeting small interfering RNA (siMCPIP1) in RAW264.7 cells.

The Globalization of Chinese Food ANTHROPOLOGY OF ASIA SERIES Series Editor: Grant Evans, University ofHong Kong Asia today is one ofthe most dynamic regions ofthe world. The previously predominant image of 'timeless peasants' has given way to the image of fast-paced business people, mass consumerism and high-rise urban conglomerations. Yet much discourse remains entrenched in the polarities of 'East vs. West', 'Tradition vs. Change'. This series hopes to provide a forum for anthropological studies which break with such polarities. It will publish titles dealing with cosmopolitanism, cultural identity, representa tions, arts and performance. The complexities of urban Asia, its elites, its political rituals, and its families will also be explored.
