Ramaiah has filed 2nd appeal on 31-12-2018 which was received by this Commission on 02-01-2019 for not getting the information sought by him from the Public Information Officer/O/o the Police Station, Munagala, Munagala Mandal, Suryapet District and the First Appellate Authority/ O/o the Police Station, Munagala, Munagala Mandal, Suryapet District. The brief facts of this case as per the appeal and other records received along with it are that the appellant herein filed an application dated.03-10-2018 before the Public Information Officer requesting to furnish the information under Sec. 6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005 on the following points mentioned: TSIC PTO Note: This is system generated copy and no signature is required 2 The Public Information Officer did not furnish any information to the Appellant. Stating that he did not receive any information from the Public Information Officer, the appellant filed 1st appeal dated.24-11-2018 before the First Appellate Authority U/s. 19 (1) of the RTI Act, 2005 requesting him to furnish the information sought by him. TSIC As per the records, the First Appellate Authority has not taken action to hear the appeal and to pass orders. Having not received any information from the Public Information Officer /the First Appellate Authority, the appellant preferred this 2nd appeal before this Commission U/s. 19(3) of the RTI Act, 2005 requesting to arrange to furnish the information sought by him. Basing on the material papers available on record, the appeal is taken on file. In view of the spread of Covid-19 Pandemic, the case is heard over phone on 16- 04-2021 with prior intimation to the concerned parties. The appellant Sri B. Ramaiah, IAS (Retd) has responded to the phone call & Sri K. Srinivasulu SI of Police / Public Information Officer / O/o the Police Station, Munagala, Munagala Mandal, Suryapet District has responded to the phone call. During the telephonic hearing the appellant has submitted that vide letter C.No.RTI/SI-R5/2017 dated 10.11.2018, the Public Information Officer has furnished part information. He further submitted that he did not receive the information for Point Nos. 6, 7, 16 and 17. The Public Information Officer has submitted that he has assumed the charge of the post very recently and he would look into the 6(1) application filed by the appellant and furnish the remaining information. The Commission directs the Public Information Officer to furnish the information on the above 4 points i.e., Point Nos. 6, 7, 16 & 7 to the appellant within one week from the date of receipt of this order through registered post and to report compliance.
