Beverly Hills High School Beverly Hills High School A Toast to the Class of 1984 Dear Fellow Normans, It is hard to believe that 30-years has passed by since we graduated from Beverly Hills High School. The reunion was a wonderful night reminiscing with old friends. It seems a lifetime ago and just like it was yesterday. We bonded over fond memories, made new memories, rekindled old friendships and shared where our paths had taken us. It was a real evening of celebration! The night was dedicated to our dear friends no longer with us and we cherish the impressions they left behind in our hearts! For those of you that could not attend, we sincerely missed you and we hope you will join us at the next reunion. Our goal was to connect with as many alumni as possible and we hope to see event more of the class the next time we gather. Please update your contact information with the B.H.H.S. Alumni Association as well as on our Facebook group page https://www.facebook.com/groups/BH84Reunion/. We celebrated with over 225 classmates in attendance which was over a third of our class so kudos to you all for coming out! I hope our special night was more than you hoped for. We ate, danced, drank, reminisced and celebrated our coming together 30-years later. Much love, happiness and success until we gather together again! A toast to the Beverly Hills High School class of 1984! Hear, Hear! I'll never forget the first time we met; At our next get-together, no one cared whether We tried so hard to impress. They impressed their classmates or not. We drove fancy cars, smoked big cigars, The mood was informal, a whole lot more normal; And wore our most elegant dress. By this time we'd all gone to pot. It was quite an affair; the whole class was there. It was held out-of-doors, at the lake shores; It was held at a fancy hotel. We ate hamburgers, coleslaw, and beans. We wined, and we dined, and we acted refined, Then most of us lay around in the shade, And everyone thought it was swell. In our comfortable T-shirts and jeans. The men all conversed about who had been first By the fortieth year, it was abundantly clear, To achieve great fortune and fame. We were definitely over the hill. Our mission is to live in a world where chaos challenges every nation and every individual equally. Fear of violence, hatred, persecution, misuse of religious and financial uncertainty follows us all. We stand divided in belief, nationalities and even within © countries-– ideology. We are a world that often seems bereft of hope or a unifying vision. It is our goal to turn the world’s eyes to the beauty that exist in front of us all. It is my hope that we will play a part in art and creativity returning everyone to the abundance that surrounds us all. When you look at our little planet from space, its singular beauty is clearly seen. Its smallness in the great void should communicate that we all live in one home. This world of ours is exactly that, it is a world of OURS; a place for all of us to share, build and nurture. Regardless of your religious beliefs, I hope you still believe in Love and Peace for all. Lets define God in his purest form as love and peace, and with this new definition, help each other and help build our home in a way that there is enough for all of us. This is the message of the festival, that through the power of creative energy and the efforts of filmmakers and artists alike, the world can become a unified and beautiful place.

While she said that she had been cast in the film originally, she had to pass and another actress got the part. She said that a few months later, her series ended about the same time Michael J.

  • Waterfire Sparks Documentary,A Three-Part Adventure the Hobbit
Romance, War and Animation En Francais Go to the crawl space and dust off your joie de vivre, the Brown University French Film Festival is back. This year there’s a well balanced variety of films including a feature animation based on a best-selling graphic novel; a period drama that takes an original look at three days in the life of a doomed monarch; a documentary that traces the evolution of French society through the lens of a homosexual; and the latest film from legendary French director Alain Resnais, just to name a few. Though the festival has been running for about 16 years, the organizers are still debating when things really got started. “Some of the archives were lost, but the archives on the website are almost correct to one year,” says Shoggy Waryn, one of the main organizers of the festival. Waryn, Senior Lecturer in French Studies at Brown, has been involved with the festival for over seven years after starting out as a ticket collector. Waryn also directed the Festival trailer, a delightful animated promo that can be viewed on the festival’s website. As usual, the films will be screened at Cable Car Cinema, continuing an important relationship that has existed since year one. “From the beginning of the festival, Cable Car was central to the success of the entire project… making it less of a campus-oriented festival and allowing for a greater opening to the rest of Providence and Rhode Island,” Waryn says. “The current owners understand this very well and are actively involved in helping make the festival happen; we would probably not survive without their active support.” In terms of what he looks for during film selection, Waryn says there are two main criteria.
