De klassas som Sveriges största rockband genom tiderna och det är med´stolthet och ökad puls som Furuvik hälsar bandet välkomna till Furuviks konsertarena. Som Sveriges största hårdrocksband genom tiderna behöver Europe knappast en närmare beskrivning, men en kortfattad historielektion skulle kunna lyda något i stil med att Joey Tempest som 15-åring träffade John Norum på Folkets park i Upplands-Väsby. De fann varandra musikaliskt med en gång och det dröjde inte länge förrän de värvat John Leven och Mic Michaeli till sitt nystartade band Force. Force bytte namn till Europe och 1982 vann de Rock-SM. 1983 kom den självbetitlade debuten och 1986 tog de världen med storm med dundersuccén The Final Countdown. 16 miljoner skivor och 1500 gig senare finns fortfarande suget att spela in ny musik och turnera världen över, till alla fans stora glädje. Senast de spelade i Sverige var i december 2009 då de intog Lisebergshallen i Göteborg och Hovet i Stockholm. Det senaste albumet, Last Look Of Eden, gick direkt upp på den svenska försäljningslistans första plats och DN beskrev plattan som ”oemotståndlig classic rock”. Europe är den andra konserten som är spikad i Furuvik 2012 och känslan inför de bokningar det förs diskussioner kring är att det blir en musiksommar i Furuvik med riktigt drag i, mer rock and roll helt enkelt. Precis som i fjol ger ett köp av Furuviks säsongskort fri entré till alla Furuviks konserter samt till Scandinavian Country Fair. Dessutom ger kortet fri entré till Gröna Lund med närmare 50 konserter, fri entré till Aquaria och 30 % rabatt på entré till Skara Sommarland och Kolmården. JOHN DIVA mit seinen 'Rockets of Love' geben sich die Ehre und präsentieren in dreißig Minuten eine beeindruckende musikalische und optische Darbietung unter dem Motto: „Mama said, Rock is dead". Frontman JOHN DIVA und seine Mannen turnen in extravagantem Outfit über die Bühne. Schön grell und bunt darf es sein und sieht man dazu DIVAS passenden Hüftschwung, weiß der Fan sofort, dass es hier nur um Sex, Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll geht. Ohne Zweifel, die Truppe ist gut und rockt auch richtig fett ab. Also, im Auge behalten. Ein gelungener Einstand in den heutigen Abend. Zu EUROPE muss man nicht viel sagen. JOEY TEMPEST ist in top Form und schmettert seine bekanntesten Songs in die Menge. Das Gedränge vor der Bühne wird größer und der Hype wächst mit jedem Song ihrer einstündigen Show. Leider fällt durch die Supporterstellung einiges unter den Tisch, aber Hits wie „Carrie", „Superstitius" und natürlich das abschließende "The Final Countdown" reißen wieder alles heraus.

EUROPE – Live & Backstage
Svenska Skolan i Heidelberg/Karlsruhe Fem veckor innan själva utflykten, hade idén1 intervjuade att få genomföra detta unika projekt slagit in som en bomb bland eleverna. För att kunna EUROPE – genomföra en intervjurunda med ett rockband av världsklass - på svenska förstås – kände (de mestadels tvåspråkiga) barnen en intrinsisk Live & Backstage motivation att utarbeta en intervju med hög kvalité. Veckorna som följde i undervisningen Höstens sensation var att Svenska Skolan i var präglade av entusiasm och strukturerat arbete. Eleverna var riktigt tända på att spelas in på film och att få skriva översättningen till bild 1: Affischen före konserten Heidelberg/Karlsruhe (Tyskland) åkte till Stuttgart på klubben Longhorn och till och med intervjuade rockbandet EUROPE under deras turné ”WAR OF KINGS TOUR”! Den 30:e oktober 2016 skulle eleverna få vara del av dessa magiska ögonblick av glädjefull förväntan och pirr i magen, exalterade inför bild 2: Pirr i magen hos eleverna från Svenska det kommande ögonblicket, då de skulle få Skolan i Heidelberg/Karlsruhe: “Nu kommer träffa EUROPE personligen. rockstjärnorna snart!“ textremsorna sedan så att även tyska barn kan förstå vad som sades. Intervjun blev en stor succé – inte bara för att barnen var väl förberedda, utan för att vi framför allt togs emot med stor vänlighet. Una edición que vuelve a acercar a la ciudad de la Mezquitaa a algunos de los grandes nombares de las seis cuerdas. Estae año, destaaca por encima del restao la actauación de la baanda estaadounidense Kiss, que taomará la Plaza de Toros de Córdobaa el 12 de julio, taeniendo a la gallega Mago de Oz, como taeloneros. Pero hay mucho más. Vuelven genios de la guitaarra como Pat Metheny, Mike Stern o Vicente Amigo y se estarenan baandas y músicos de la taalla de Europe o Bryan Ferry. No cabae duda de que el heavy metal y el hard rock han sido siempre géneros muy apreciados en el Festval de la Guitara de Córdoba. En los últimos años, el festival ha acogido a baandas como Scorpions, Deep Purple o Michael Schenker Group y a solistaas de la taalla de Staeve Vai o Joe Satariani. Pero habaía dos baandas que taenían que pasar antaes o después por Córdobaa. Ha habaido que esperar, pero por fn estaarán en estaa edición. Son Kiss y Europe. Kiss, primera vez en Andalucía La gran noticia es que Kiss actuará por primera vez en Andalucía después de 45 años de carrera.
