We Celebrate Israel. May the Ribono Shel Olam Protect and Strengthen Her Defenders.

Chazak, Chazak L’Chayalim Shelanu – As an expression of heartfelt appreciation and gratitude, and in their attempt to provide an infusion of moral and spiritual support towards Chayalie Tzva Hagana L’Yisrael - Israel’s Brave Defenders, our dear Shul members, Vicky and Harvey Samuels, want to help dedicate a brand-new to be used by those courageous soldiers on their base and even in combat. Last week, we announced their most kind and generous donation of $10,000 towards this project. This week, an equally generous family of our Shul - who wishes to remain anonymous for the time being, has come forward to match their donation. We’re now almost halfway towards achieving our goal; we’re actively seeking partners to help make this special gift become a reality. B’ezrat Hashem, Kaplan, is prepared to travel to Israel to represent our entire community for completing the scribing of this new Torah on an army base and for conveying our love and gratitude to those who defend our holy and eternal homeland. Please consider doing your part to actualize this beautiful act of spiritual encouragement. Say “Chazak!” (= be strong) to our Chayalim (defenders). Contact Rabbi Kaplan if you’d like to participate in this very special Hakarat Hatov Project!
