About USLLS . . . From the Dean’s

Established in 2001, University School of Law and Legal Studies (USLLS) Desk . . . has acquired the status of a distinct institution of legal education in an unparallel setting of multidisciplinary environments. It has emerged as a premier hub of legal education in India. It is the best college for law under GGSIP University. Also, the CET cut-off rank of USLLS (237) outperforms Amity Law School (1386) and VIPS (2000).

This has helped them imbibe the practical knowledge which is especially crucial in the legal profession. The Placement and Internship Cell of USLLS is pleased to announce the release of the Placement Brochure, 2019. It is my honest belief that believe these students are conscientious citizens, dedicated individuals and most important hardworking students who have The brochure records the highpoints of the Batch of 2014-2019. It underlines the sound knowledge in field of law. This progress has been facilitated by brilliant scale of activities of this batch. The batch participated in the moot competitions, debates, arbitration, mediation and other workshops in the Legal Aid. They have former students of this law school who have made a mark for themselves in attended many national and international conferences, seminars, workshops in diverse their respective domain and are doing remarkably well today making us areas, ranging from the environment to commercial laws, constitutional matters, etc. Many in the batch contributed research papers, published with various student journals immensely proud of our alumni. I sincerely reckon that given an opportunity and legal research institutions. The students are focused, and they have clarity about that students of this batch shall prove indispensable asset to any organisation their plans of action. They have been pursuing certificate courses to buttress their qualification in the specialised areas of law that they wish to do. that they are absorbed and shall strive towards contributing positively and fruitfully to the growth of that establishment as well as legal industry at large. The students have been enthusiastically working for their placements, and the core team of the students at the cell worked round the clock to provide internships for their Prof. Kanwal D.P. The batch has also provided mentorship to the juniors. This process helps the juniors to be trained to look for internships and placements for themselves, and it helps in a smooth transition. THE PLACEMENT PROCESS SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS:

a. Firms are encouraged to conduct Pre-Placement Talks (PPT) to interested students in the University giving important information such as the profile of the organization, career prospects, compensation packages, etc. Also, they are free to determine their own policy for the Screening Process to shortlist students.

b. After the completion of Pre-Interview Screening, the Firms shall formulate a Final Interview List which shall be communicated only to the Placement Cell, USLLS at least 72 hours (3days) prior to the interview day along with a wait list of students. In case any Applicant who is selected in the Final Interview List is not available for the interview then the Firms can interview the Waitlist Candidates instead, as per the rules and procedures.

c. All interviews being conducted in the same day may be conducted in different time slots. The Firms will be required to disclose the results of their Final Interviews
