I love this Vol. 3 story. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. I think this is definitely the most convoluted volume I've read so far. There were a few instances where I had to go back and check on a few things but maybe it's just far too intelligent for my pea-brain! Anyway, the stakes are higher than ever in this third volume and this time focuses on L, Light and Misa working together in order to apprehend Kira. And yes I'm pretty confused about Light not knowing that he was Kira Death Note Vol. I've given it 4 stars Death Note Black Edition as I was a bit confused at times and think I might need a lie down now Apr 05, Sasha rated it it was amazing Shelves: read-inmangas. I feel like at this point I don't need to repeat myself. Aug 27, Manisha rated it really liked it Shelves: sff-adultgenre-fantasypages4-star-readsgraphic-novels-manga- manhwa. I still love this series, and I will continue to re-read it again… and again… and again. I'd forgotten about the Yotsuba arc Death Note Black Edition the anime and I remember why, it's definitely not my favourite arc within the storyline. Far too much Death Note Black Edition is spent on people in meeting rooms and not enough time on the main characters. However as usual it's wonderfully written and beautifully convoluted. The artwork is perfect and I still thoroughly enjoyed this book overall. Mar 16, Sue Moro rated it really liked Death Note Black Edition Shelves: manga. Overall, still enjoying this series. I found the parts involving the meetings of the Yotsuba group to be a little tedious, however, and they slowed down the plot. Jun 11, Joseph Hare rated it it was amazing. The beginning of this volume contains an event that pretty Death Note Black Edition completely changes the story, I can see why they'd want to do something like this after two volumes of the same set-up, but it was extremely disorienting. It felt like everything that had happened previously suddenly had no influence, and it was like the manga had somehow rebooted itself before it was even done. I had negative feelings about all this initially, but I soon began to really enjoy it. The event in question doesn't really change everything, and it certainly doesn't retcon the first two volumes, it just takes things in a much, much more complicated Death Note Black Edition, and I ended up loving that. The new focus on the Yotsuba group was a great way to reintroduce the classic Death Note Kira vs L chess game of outsmarting each other, and it concluded in an unexpected and enjoyable way. New characters add new dynamics to the story, but they don't feel shoehorned in. At this point there are so many elements at play that I feel like the battle between Kira and L could go a million ways. Mar 16, Monica Go rated it really liked it Shelves: For now the second volume is my favorite. Although, I'm enjoying how the story is progressing and I want to see how Ryuk is coming back in it. I'm also eager to know how Light's plan is going to work out. Need more voluuuumes. Jun 10, Teya Agnese rated it it was amazing Shelves: read- in Light's plan had gone exactly how he expected it too even though he lost all memory to do with his possession of the death note! Matsudu and Misa-Misa's roles in this book were brilliant even though they're portrayed as almost useless characters, they proved themselves worthy of being part of the team. Overall I enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed the others and I am going to continue on with the next book immediately! I don't love where the story went but it's still so Vol. 3 and I'm enjoyed it so much. Dec 18, Books on Stereo rated it did not like it. Everything that I loved from the prior volumes completely went away for me in this volume. I hope things pick up soon. Sep 08, Rami Hamze rated it liked it Shelves: japanese Just a quick warning to say that this review may contain spoilers for Death Note: Volume 2! Ever since I finished volume 2 of Death Note, I have been eager to jump back into the story. After getting the rest of the books for Christmas, I finally got the chance to rejoin the battle between Light and L and although I enjoyed it, it was still not as good as the very first volume. The plot for the first and second volumes were quite similar; Light trying to outsmart L in order to create the world in w Just a quick warning to say that this review may contain spoilers for Death Note: Volume 2! The plot for the first and second volumes were quite similar; Light trying to outsmart Death Note Black Edition in order to create the world in which he has judged to be Death Note Black Edition from evil. However this one took a different turn, following Light as he worked with L, rather than against him, as they attempt to take down Kira once and for all. The change in the story was very interesting and to be honest, not what I was expecting Death Note Black Edition all, but I did quite enjoy it. That being said, I am hopeful that things will return back to normal in the next volume. Anyway, the story was still fast-paced and engaging, and a really enjoyable read. The art was also stunningly beautiful, as always. Light changed a lot in this volume and I'd even go as far as to say that he took a bit of a backseat to the plot, which appeared to be of more importance. I personally love Light, so I was a little disappointed by this but is was an interesting way to see him, as it was different to how he was before. Due to his change in character, his relationship and dynamic with L also altered, which was also quite fascinating to see. I don't believe that L's character development Death Note Black Edition very Death Note Black Edition in this one, as like with Light, the plot seemed to be more significant.
