1. 31 death reported. 17 lakhs people affected. 2. In all the 4 relief camps, 100% of the families have food availability for up to a week. 3. 100% damage to food storages in the families. 4. 90% agricultural tools have been lost. 5. 100% of the respondents noted that the loss of livestock is acute. 6. Agricultural land is under water and crops have been damaged. 7. Coming days and years will be a great crucial for the people in terms of livelihood. 8. Daily wagers earners are at wits end 9. Out of 256 damaged houses 36 houses were fully damaged. Families are now taking shelter along the road side, embankment and public buildings. 10. Kitchen utensils, bedding and blankets are damaged or washed away. 11. No reports of harassment of women, law and order at present. 12. Countless number of roads and embankment has been damaged. 13. Health concerns are high with complaints of stomach pain, headache, skin rush, fever & with possibility of health hazard due to cattle around the relief camps. 14. Schools when reopen after the summer vacation will have difficulties. 15. No proper toilets and bath rooms for the ladies and for the young girls. 16. Lack cooking facilities. 1. 16, 68, 865 lakh people affected across 2,964 villages in 21 districts as on 27th July 2016. 2. The flood related death toll has also gone up to three in the state. 3. Inundated districts are Tinsukia, Lakhimpur, Golaghat, Kokrajhar, Chirang, Bongaigaon, Golaghat, Morigaon, Jorhat, Dhemaji, Sivsagar, Barpeta, Nagaon, Dhubri, Dibrugarh, Sonitpur, Biswanath, Darrang and Nalbari. 4. Government have opened 472 relief camps and 186 distribution centre having 1, 12,853 inmates and more than 22,931 marooned people. 5. In Jorhat and Chirang alone 220 and 13 houses were damaged fully. But in reality the number of fully house damaged will be more than 600.

Around NH 57 most affected blocks are Supaul, Kishanpu Saraigadh Baphtahiyahi, Marwana, and Basantpur 5. The flood has claimed 06 human lives in in supaul as per officially reported by the ADM Supaul. 6. The water level of kosh iriver near Baltara and Kursela is 111 cm and 1 cm above the danger line respectively. 7. Around 52216 displaced people taken shelter at different part of the high land. 8. Caritas team is working mainly in Supaul & Purniya districts 9. 130 villages of 06 Panchyats in 06 blocks of Supaul district have been inundated and near about 40000 displaced people taken shelter around NH 57 and other higher places.
