The first came at last year’s The RSM Classic at nearby Sea Island when won. Last month, Chappell finished second behind Jason Day at the Arnold Palmer Invitational Presented by MasterCard.

This is Chappell’s fourth appearance at the RBC Heritage. After posting a T29 in his first appearance in 2012, he missed the cut in 2013 and 2014. Before his 68-68 start this week, Chappell had never shot a sub-70 score here in his eight rounds at Harbour Town Golf Links.

Day is seeking his third win of the season and his third in four starts (Arnold Palmer Invitational, WGC-Dell ). He finished T10 at the last week.
