The VMI Rugby team played Lexington rival Washington & Lee last Tuesday on the W&L campus. The game mariced the first meeting between the two schools in two yean. The weather played a huge factor In both teams' performance during the game. Throughout the day winds were gusting and the wind took control of the game. The Generals kicked off to VMI with the wind at their back. The first scdie came from W&L on a kick after a VMI penalty. VMI's strong kicking game was ineffective and they had to rely on short passes and runs.
