Simply top up a large glass of beer with an equal measure of lemonade. This also known as a lager top. As a variation to the typical lager or beer shandy, ginger beer or ginger ale can be used as the mixer.

Ready-to-Drink versions of the beer shandy have been available for as long as I can remember: It seems as if Christies Gold Shandy from Swaziland Beverages is no longer available in South Africa. As an alternative you can offer Bavaria Shandy to your retail customers. Snakebite

! ! When mixed with cider, the drink is known as a snakebite. Traditionally, the snakebite combines equal parts of lager and cider with a splash of blackcurrant cordial for a zap of sweetness. Black velvet/Champagne Velvet If you're a fan of richer beers, this interesting take on a stout might just become your favourite drink! Also known as the champagne velvet, this drink combines equal parts chilled stout and champagne. If you're a fan of stout for its flat, smooth consistency, drinking it infused with crisp, bubbly champagne will definitely make for a new experience. Black and Tan 4 If champagne isn't your thing, the classic black and tan combines equal parts stout and pale ale – a lighter take on your typical creamy stout.
