On the 13-track LP, James takes us on a journey of love through the highs and lows of relationships, while showcasing his extraordinary vocal capacity. The exceptional storytelling starts off with various slow burning, down-tempo tracks: the hit single “Permission,” “Burn Slow,” “Ga$,” and “A.D.I.D.A.S. (All Day I).”James proves that he is a force to be reckoned with by manifesting his creativity with bouncy, up-tempo tracks like “Already Knew That,”"Holy Water," "Last Cigarette" and “New Religion.”

Kicking off June 18th at Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, WA, James joins Maxwell as a special guest on his "SUMMERS' Tour 2016." About Ro James :

Born in Stuttgart, Germany to a military father turned preacher, Ro James found himself moving around for most of his childhood. From Indiana, California, Hawaii, Oklahoma to the place he now calls home, New York, music was always in the forefront of James' . His musical inspirations come from the sounds of Johnny Cash, , Tupac, , and more. Since his emergence in 2013, Ro James has worked with the likes of Miguel and Brenmar. That same year he also released an EP trilogy: Coke, Jack & Cadillacs, which received critical praise from outlets such as The FADER, The Source, VIBE, and HypeTrak.
