2013-05-27 16:26 CEST GRAMMY NOMINERADE ARTISTEN WALE SLÄPPER NYA ALBUMET ”THE GIFTED” 25 JUNI

Wale’s första singel ”Bad” från den kommande skivan nådde guldstatus i USA efter bara några veckor på listorna och musikvideon till låten har setts över 15 miljoner gånger på YouTube.

Den här veckan följer han upp med albumets andra singel ”Love/Hate Thing”, vilken talar för en minst lika stor framgång. I samband med detta släpps även en remix på ”Bad” som Wale gjort tillsammans med ingen mindre än Rihanna.

Genom den nya plattan ”The Gifted” som släpps den 25 juni och som är den tredje i ordningen, får man följa med på en resa genom Wale´s karriär, hans låttexter och hans erfarenheter av både verkliga livet och musikbranschen.

“This is the album I’ve always wanted to make, the return to real musicianship, real instruments, actually seeing my vision completed is what inspired me to name the album ‘The Gifted’. At the same time, I realized that every person carries a gift but most don’t ever get the opportunity to find out what that is. So, I’m hoping I can inspire them to search for it.”
