Welcome

About Suzhou

Suzhou is located in the southern part of the province close to the East of Taihu Lake. It is one of the main industrial centers in and also an important tourism city. Suzhou ranges over 8488 square kilometers including surroundings. The population is close to 8 million.

Established in 1994, Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) is an important economic cooperation project between Chinese and Singapore government. SIP covers a total jurisdiction area of 288 sq km, among which 80 sq km area belongs to China-Singapore cooperative zone. As the eastern new township of Suzhou city, SIP has turned into a modern new township and CBD of Suzhou.
