Malson and student-athletes, the CCIW enters the 2015-16 academic year as its 71th season of competition, 31st for women’s sports. 2014 Record 2-8 The conference is coming off another successful year in 2015-16 with over 1,600 2014 CCIW Finish 1-6, T7th academic all-conference recipients, 14 College Sports Information Directors of America Letterwinners Returning/Lost 30/20 (CoSIDA) Academic All-Americans, 36 CoSIDA Academic All-District recipients and over 100 Starters Returning/Lost 11/11 All-Americans. The CCIW has seen its share of success throughout its time, with 48 NCAA Athletic Director Dr. Craig White Division III National Championships in 11 different sports won by the membership. After winning the first-ever Bernie Bierman started his fourth season as the head football coach at Minnesota in 1935.
