Esta institución entrega conocimientos, amigos, experiencias de vida, etc. La universidad en su gran mayoría esta constituida por personas dispuestas a enseñar para que a su vez creen personas de bien con criterio que aportarten a la sociedad. Es por esto que quiero dar mis agradecimientos a los profesores de la institución y en especial al profesor Jorge Diaz por contribuir para desarrollar mi concepto de la música y enseñarme a través de su experiencia de vida en la música como tomar siempre las mejores decisiones para llevar a cabo una buena producción. Pasos y requerimientos para la producción y creación de una nueva sonoridad en el rock alternativo 5 Autor: David Londoño DEDICATORIA Quiero dedicar este trabajo a mis Padres Carlos Arturo Londoño y Piedad de Londoño como a mis hermanos Jairo Londoño y Camilo Londoño por colaborarme absolutamente en todo lo relacionado con mi carrera no solo en los gastos universitarios sino el increíble apoyo moral para continuar con la difícil campaña de ser un artista Colombiano. Pasos y requerimientos para la producción y creación de una nueva sonoridad en el rock alternativo 6 Autor: David Londoño 1.1. OBJETIVO GENERAL Realizar la producción y creación de una nueva sonoridad en el rock alternativo. (Investigación y desarrollo acústico de un bajo eléctrico así como la grabación, mezcla y pre-masterización de un disco sencillo como soporte investigativo) 1.2. OBJETIVOS ESPECÍFICOS 1.2.1. Investigar sobre la acústica del bajo eléctrico para desarrollar un instrumento que cumpla con los requerimientos de la producción. 1.2.2. Grabar Bajos, guitarras, batería, atmósferas, loops electrónicos y detalles de producción. 1.2.3. Identificar los procesos adecuados de grabación y mezcla para hacer el tratamiento y aplicarlos a los instrumentos de forma adecuada. 1.2.4 .Identificar y categorizar los instrumentos grabados para hacer una mezcla coherente con el estilo musical y el correcto orden de los procesos. 1.2.5. Analizar el tipo de sonoridad que se busca en el bajo eléctrico para crear un sonido propio. 1.2.6. Estudiar y desarrollar los mejores métodos de pre-masterización de forma que el producto musical mantenga una alta calidad de sonido. Pasos y requerimientos para la producción y creación de una nueva sonoridad en el rock alternativo 7 Autor: David Londoño NOTA INTRODUCTORIA El presente proceso investigativo propuesto, se caracteriza por ser una realización aplicada al campo de la ingeniería de sonido, con base en la experiencia del autor, cuya información será Cuali-Cuantitativa y al mismo tiempo descriptiva, explicativa. El autor describirá una serie de procesos, para lograr alcanzar cada uno de los objetivos específicos y así mismo, los resultados u observaciones de la producción los cuales serán analizados para encontrar los mejores métodos o procedimientos que fundamenten la argumentación de cada capítulo. Finalmente este proyecto de grado propone una nueva alternativa de realizar los procesos y desarrollo de una nueva investigación en la producción musical. El resultado de la investigación y desarrollo acústico del instrumento será un disco sencillo, el cual soportará la investigación de los procesos de la producción. Pasos y requerimientos para la producción y creación de una nueva sonoridad en el rock alternativo 8 Autor: David Londoño INTROCUCIÓN “El arte tiene la bonita costumbre de echar a perder todas las teorías artísticas” Marcel Duchamp En la producción como en el arte no existe una regla estándar o con un orden establecido que deba seguirse en los procesos imaginativos, esto se debe a que la creación artística así como cualquier tipo de expresividad puede variar significativamente entre una obra literaria, pictórica o musical y otras aparentemente similares. En el arte el valor no esta dado por la perfección en la técnica ni por la rigidez en las normas establecidas y ahora en la cumbre del arte moderno mucho menos por la búsqueda de belleza 1. El arte es vida, fuerza, imaginación y cultura. Esta siempre esta en movimiento. Lo que puede parecer desagradable o complejo en exceso, con el paso del tiempo puede ser gratificante, deseable. Nadie tiene la última palabra sobre el arte, solo meras aproximaciones acomodadas a épocas determinadas ya que esta parece ser una entidad viviente que puede cambiar inesperadamente. En este sentido el arte esta estrechamente relacionada con la expresividad y con la importancia de la diferencia. Es decir, es menos importante para la humanidad quien mejora un estilo de pintura, que aquel que la invento. Este iniciador trascenderá como el hombre con imaginación mas allá de las normas y por lo tanto se traduce como mas valioso. Es así como el verdadero artista es aquel que es capas de experimentar, investigar y sobretodo de tener la fortaleza de comunicar en su forma particular sus sentimientos al mundo. 1 Para la escritora Ana cristina el arte se encuentra en la naturaleza. Campbell was a guitarist in Motorhead since 1984, until the death of Lemmy’s, so “using” his repertoire is a serious commercial move. The heritage of Motorhead will surely catch the attention of their long die-hard fans, but nonetheless it was an honest and true concert. Besides Campbell, his three sons are playing – Todd, Dane and Tyla. The vocalist of the band, Neil Starr, who was clearly under the jitters, still managed to convincingly play hits like “Killed By Death” and “Ace Of Spades”. There were also few surprises.
