Brief Summary BRIEF SUMMARY Al-Hira Mines & Minerals proposes to mine M-Sand & Gravel from an approved Mining Lease area extending over an extent of 23.00 Ha., which is located in Survey No: 674 (Old Sy. No. 425), Chintakunta (V), Muddanur (M), Kadapa District, A.P. The proposed capacity M- Sand is 243798 MTPA and Gravel 146813 MTPA. The area is situated at a distance of 1.48 kms from Denupalle Village. PROJECT PROPOSAL The proposed Mining is a open cast method. It is proposed to excavate with a production capacity of M-Sand : 243798 MTPA and Gravel - 146813 MTPA. Mining Plan was approved vide Lr.No.5090/MP/YGL/2016 dated: 31.01.2017 by Asst. Director of Mines and Geology, A.P EXECUTIVE SUMMARY M/s Al-Hira Mines & Minerals Proprietor Sri Channur Jamaluddinn filed an application for grant of quarry lease for M-Sand & Gravel over an extent of 23.00 Ha. which is located in Sy. No. 674 (Old Sy. No. 425) of Chintakunta Village, Muddanuru Mandal, Kadapa District, Andhra Pradesh The Assistant Director of Mines & Geology, Yerraguntla has submitted proposals to Director of Mines & Geology, Ibrahimpatnam proposing for grant of quarry lease for M-Sand & Gravel in Sy. No: 674 (Old Sy. No. 425) of Chintakunta Village, Muddanuru Mandal, Kadapa District, Andhra Pradesh State over an extent of 23.00 Hectares After careful examination of the proposals of the ADM&G, Yerraguntla and the M-Sand Policy issued by Govt. of A.P the DM&G Kadapa in principle has decided to grant a quarry lease for M – Sand & Gravel over an extent of 23.00 Ha. in Sy. No: 674 (Old Sy. No. 425) of Chintakunta Village, Muddanur Mandal, Y.S.R Kadapa District, Andhra Pradesh State in favor 1 of M/s. Al-Hira Mines & Minerals Proprietor: Channur Jamaluddin for a period of 10 years subject to submission of Approved Mining Plan within a period of 6 months from the date of issue of the Notice No. 4164/QL/YGL/2016, dated 21.10.2016 The Mining plan approved vide Letter No: 5090/MP/YGL/2016, Dated: 31.01.2017. Extent and Type of Lease Area: The area of the Mining Lease is 23.00 Ha. in Sy. No. 674 (Old Sy. No. 425) of Chintakunta Village, Muddanur (M), Kadapa District. The applied quarry lease area is a Govt. Land. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT As per the approved mining plan (Lr. No: 5090/MP/YGL/2017 Dt: 02.2019), M/s. Al-Hira Mines & Minerals had a mining lease of M-Sand & Gravel over an extent of 23.00 Ha., in Sy. No: 674 (Old Sy. No. 425) of Chintakunta Village, Muddanur Mandal, Kadapa District, Andhra Pradesh. The present proposal is for production of M-Sand - 243798 and Gravel - 146813 MTPA (Max) of and the mining activity is carried out by Open Cast Semi Mechanized method. This assessment is performed to identify the likely Environmental impacts and based on the findings; an effective Environmental management plan is put in place as per the EIA notification 2006 general guidelines and the revised TOR outlined for mining projects. The report is prepared in lieu of the standards set by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and the State Pollution Control Board (SPCB). 2 LOCATION DETAILS The mining area is located in Chintakunta village of Muddanur Mandal at Kadapa District, Andhra Pradesh. The mine lease area falls under the Toposheet No.:57J/6 Latitude: 14°42'17.20"N Longitude: 78°18'5.76"E. The nearest railway station is Mangapatnam which is at 5.20 kms from the mine lease area. The nearest airport is Kadapa Airport at 53.90 kms from the mining site. 3.

The Programme Officers made a presentation on State Perspective & Strategic Plan and Preliminary Project Reports submitted in respect of new projects under IWMP by the SLNAs of Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka . Regarding the presentation on Karnataka, the Programme Officer informed that out of 25940 treatable micro-watersheds in the State, 9172 micro-watersheds have been covered under various watershed schemes. The balance treatable micro-watersheds are 16768 for which the State has prepared a plan to cover these under IWMP during the remaining period of XI Plan and next three Five Year Plans. During 2009-10, the State has proposed to treat 966 micro-watersheds over an area of 4.91 lakh ha against the allocated target of 3.4 lakh ha. During the discussion, the State representative from Karnataka requested the Committee that the central funds under IWMP be released to the District Watershed Development Office (DWDO) instead of placing the funds with ZPs for smooth implementation and monitoring of the programme.

    10/31/2018 District Irrigation Profiles IRRIGATION PROFILE OF YSR KADAPA DISTRICT **Click here for Ayacut Map INTRODUCTION The Kadapa district was formed in 1808 during British rule with head quarters at Kadapa. There are 51 Mandals in the District. The population of the District is 28,84,524 persons as per Census 2011. The District is bounded on the North by Kurnool and Prakasam districts, on the South by Chitoor district, on the East by Nellore district and on the West by Anantapur district. The District is rich in mineral resources. The principle minerals available are Lead, Barites, Asbestos, Lime stone, Uranium and Kadapa stone. The District Head quarters is connected with broad gauge railway line from Mumbai to Chennai and Hyderabad to Tirupathi. The area of the district is mainly covered under major irrigation i.e., K.C. Canal, Telugu Ganga Project, GNSS Project and No. of other Medium and Minor irrigation sources. The District is situated with in the Geographical Co-ordination of 13° 43' and 15° 14' of Northern latitude and 77° 55' and 79° 29' of the Eastern longitude. The entire District lies in Pennar river Basin. The Major amount of rain falls due to South-West Monsoon. The District is classified as drought Prone area due to Scanty and erratic rain fall. Brief Description of Project : The project was started during the academic year 2014-15, we were able to provide complete school kits to 725 students and a total of 1196 students benefited through our project. We planned to continue our project this academic year 2015-16 and started our work related to the project in the month of Feb -2015 and we planned to provide kits to as many students as possible depending on the resources in hand by end of May 2015. The project was planned with an intention to provide school kits to students from rural villages , after discussing with all our volunteers we planned to select schools from Ananthapur, Kadapa districts of AP and Rangareddy , Mahabubnagar and Warangal districts of Telangana. Role of Volunteers : Volunteers are integral part of our organization and all the projects implemented till date are successful only because of their hard work and commitment and this is no exception , all the volun- teers did their best in finding out sponsors and in a period of 90 days they were able to find sponsors for 1500+ students and through other sources of funding (Monthly donations, Volunteer contributions) we were able to generate some amount that would support another 1000+ students by providing them with notebooks and stationery kits.
