LEADS GROUP UPDATE
The Success Leads Group will meet on Thursday, August 2nd, at the Sheraton Orlando North Hotel in Maitland. We look forward to seeing you and any guests you would like to bring. Sixteen members ofThe Achievers Leads Group met on Tuesday, July 10th, at the Chamber offices. The theme for our one-minute commercials was "SECRETS REVEALED! Something I've never told you about my business." We had a great time and learned more about each member's services. Our featured 10-minute speaker was Rob Kubier from Paychex, who discussed the many services that his company can offer to small to medium size businesses. Our lunch sponsor was Amy Robinson from Sam's Club, who brought a
http://www.maitlandchamber.com/news.html wonderful selection ofsubmarine sandwiches and dessert. Next month, the Achievers will meet on Tuesday, August 14th at 11:30 am at the Chamber offices. Our 10-minute featured speaker will be Pasquale Velez from the Holiday Inn Orlando-North. Our lunch sponsor will be Deborah Vizzi from AT&T. Rather than having a theme for our one-minute commercials, we will be discussing ways to improve our leads group, possible changes in format, additional businesses we would like to have represented in our group, and ideas for future topics. Our members generate many successful leads for one another, and we expect everone who attends our meeting to provide at least one lead or a testimony about someone's services they have utilized. Ifyou have NOT received leads at these meetings, perhaps it is time to sit back and recall if you have GIVEN any leads to other members. Please remember that leads can be given and you can ask that your name not be used when the contact is made. There are so many sources for leads you can provide: Your neighbor, dentist, doctor or banker, your dry cleaner, your co-worker, someone you met at a chamber mixer or other professional meeting, a new company you read about, your own business, etc. At the next meeting, we will supply you with a list ofpossible sources for leads. Everyone is encouraged to participate in the Chamber's 5th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, August 24th. The golfcourse is another great place to generate leads. Platinum Leads Group - The luncheon for the Platinum Leads group was held and catered on July 13th at The Place at Maitland. Every member and guest got a chance to introduce themselves. Walter Rentz did an intertesting presentation on financial planning and gave away some prizes. Bette Hillman's scheduled next month. Several leads were exchanged and things are beginning to cook!
