The insulation performance of external walls is being continuously enhanced in the architectural domain. However, Korea’s policy and construction market focuses only on the heat resistance of buildings’ external walls to enhance the insulation performance, leading to an increased thickness of the insulation materials. In this study, the relationship between the surface reflectivity and insulation thickness of external walls was examined to formulate an effective insulation strategy for buildings in Korea. Office buildings of 12 regions in the Korean Peninsula were considered. The dynamic energy simulation program EnergyPlus was used to perform the heating and cooling load analyses. The present worth method was adopted to perform the economic analysis. The analysis of the cooling and heating loads indicated that a change occurred not only in terms of the latitude but also between the Eastern and Western regions. Based on our research, the following trends have defined the human rights situation in the DPRK over the past seven years: an intensive crackdown on attempted escape from the country leading to a higher number of prisoners in detention; a closure of prison camps near the border with China while camps inland were expanded; satellite imagery analysis revealing secure perimeters inside these detention facilities with watch towers seemingly located to provide overlapping fields of fire to prevent escapes; a disproportionate repression of women (800 out of 1000 women at Camp No. 12 were forcibly repatriated); and an aggressive purge of senior officials. 2- National consultation for the drafting of the national report Although HRNK would welcome consultation and in-country access to assess the human rights situation, the DPRK government displays a consistently antagonistic attitude towards our organization.

As of December 31, 2019 the Continental Corporation consists of 581 companies, including non-controlled companies in addition to the parent company Continental AG. The Continental team is made up of 241,458 employees at a total of 595 locations in 59 countries and markets. The postal addresses of companies under our control are defined as locations. Continental has been divided into the group sectors Automotive Technologies, Rubber Technologies and Powertrain Technologies since January 1, 2020. These sectors comprise five business areas with 23 business units. A business area or business unit is classified according to technologies, product groups and services. The business areas and business units have overall responsibility for their business, including their results. Overall responsibility for managing the company is borne by the Executive Board of Continental Aktiengesellschaft (AG). Each business area is represented by one Executive Board member. An exception is the Powertrain business area, which has had its own management since January 1, 2019, following its transformation into an independent legal entity. To ensure a unified business strategy in the Automotive Technologies group sector, the Automotive Board was established on April 1, 2019, with a member of the Executive Board as “spokesman.” The new board is intended to speed up decision-making processes and generate synergies from the closer ties between the Autonomous Mobility and Safety business area and the Vehicle Networking and Information business area. With the exception of Corporate Purchasing, the central functions of Continental AG are represented by the chairman of the Executive Board, the chief financial officer and the Executive Board member responsible for Human Relations.
