About Fera's EU Work Fera is the lead UK coordinator in the KBBE funding scheme and has many years of experience gained from working on 33 projects and dealing with over 440 partners organisations.

Fera has a track record as the primary body within the UK for successfully managing large projects within the European Knowledge Based Bio-Economy (KBBE) research and development arena, having managed nearly 12% of all the UK- coordinated projects in the six years since the KBBE programme started in 2012. Meeting the increasing demand for food while balancing competing priorities for the environment and commercial enterprises is a core concern for the organisation.
