ROSTER SET FOR 2016 STATE FARM COLLEGE SLAM DUNK & 3- CHAMPIONSHIPS 28th Annual Event to Air Live from Berry Center March 31 at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN

HOUSTON (March 29, 2016) –The 2016 State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships roster is finalized, Intersport announced today. The 28th annual event, which will showcase the dunking and long-range shooting talents of 24 of the country’s premier college players, will air live on ESPN at 8 p.m. CT March 31 from Berry Center in Cypress, .

The program consists of the Denny's Slam Dunk Championship, the Marines Men's 3-Point Shooting Championship, the Ooma Women's 3-Point Shooting Championship, and the Shoe Carnival “Battle of the Champions”.

Yunio Barrueta of Barry University earned a spot in the Slam Dunk Championship by winning the State Farm “Dark Horse Dunker” competition, a digital media fan voting contest. After 142,512 fan votes were cast over four weeks, Barrueta was selected to compete in the contest.

Over the last 27 years, several of the top players in college basketball have competed in the College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships including: , , , Kyle Korver, Aaron Brooks, Bobby Hurley, Michael Finley, , Allan Houston, Wes Matthews, Cappie Pondexter, Katie Gearlds, and Kristi Toliver.

The ESPN broadcast team includes Brad Nessler as play-by-play announcer, Sean Farnham as analyst and Shannon Spake on the sideline.
