Member Profiles Roy Pirie (Chair) Roy has had a varied career as Regional Controller of Odeon Cinemas, a Management Accountant and General Manager of Forton Motorway Services with responsibility for designing and commissioning new service areas. Roy has 10 years experience of providing management services and financial accounting for a local international sports car racing company. He also ran a local zoo for over 6 years Roy began working with Dallam School as a Parent Governor in 1999 before becoming a Trustee of the South Westmorland Multi-Academy Trust and then a Member in 2020. Roy chaired the Dallam School/South Westmorland MAT Finance Committee for over 15 years. Roy is also a Trustee of the Dallam School Charitable Trust and lives in Tarvin. Chester. Positions held: Trustee of the Dallam School Charitable Trust Reverend Susan Wilson Sue was Headteacher of three large primary schools in Bristol and Bath over a twenty year period. She left to take up a post as a Primary Education Adviser for Wiltshire County Council’s Education Authority. Sue was ordained as an Anglican Priest in 1999 and was Priest in Baths and Wells Diocese for 7 years before moving to Cumbria in 2006 to become Priest in Charge of Heversham and Milnthorpe until her retirement in October 2016. Sue was a Trustee of the South Westmorland Trust until 2020 when she was appointed as Member. Sue lives in Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria. Jayne Clarke Jayne has been Principal at the highly successful Oldham Sixth Form College since 2010, and Executive Principal for the Pinnacle Learning Trust since 2017. She is an active member of the Sixth Form College Association Council and Chair of the Funding Committee. Jayne is a National Leader of Education, a member of the Oldham Opportunity Area Partnership Board and continues to support other secondary schools that are not members of The Pinnacle Learning Trust through membership of a number of Governing Bodies. Jayne lives in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. Enid Fraser Enid is a retired headteacher. She spent 8 years as headteacher at Settlebeck School in Sedbergh having previously been the Deputy Head. Following this period, she became part of Cumbria’s School Improvement Team, supported primary and secondary schools across the county, delivered training, helped to develop the original NPQH and became a course leader. She also trained as an Ofsted inspector as part of the Cumbria team, participating in many inspections in the north of England. In 1999, Enid returned to headship at Parkview School in Barrow in Furness. Retiring in 2008, she became Executive Officer for the South Lakes Federation (Ltd) where she managed the business, worked closely with schools and their headteachers and supported the strategic direction and development of the federation. She has worked as an independent consultant and been involved in the recruitment of number of senior leaders in schools. Enid is currently the Chair of the South Westmorland MAT Board and lives in Levens.
