Solution: The World Business Council for Sustainable Development has appointed NRI businessman Sunny Verghese, co-founder and CEO of Singapore-based Olam International as the new chairman of the organisation from 2018. Sunny is the first ever Asian CEO to be appointed as Chair in World Business Council for Sustainable Development's (WBCSD) 25 years of history. WBCSD is a global network of more than 200 CEOs who are responsible for a combined revenue of more than USD 8.5 trillion and 19 million employees.
