A General Meeting is being held at 2:00 pm on 6th March, preceded by Mixed Competitive Bowls at 9:45 am. It is hoped most members will attend, because it is intended we will not hold a meeting in April. A brief meeting is scheduled on 1st May, prior to the Howlong Golf Resort calling the Club’s AGM on the morning of 29th May, with the Ladies Closing Day to be held in the afternoon.

The next RDWBA Delegates’ Meeting will be held at the Lavington Bowling Club at 1:00 pm on Monday, 15th April.

I will be collecting for the VWGA (Veteran Women's Golf of NSW) on the 12th of March. This year in May and June there will be a competition at the weekend stroke event for VWGA members. Another activity for the VWGA members to be involved in with results to be presented at the Presentation day in November.

This year there will be an OBE (Over B 80) competition beginning in April. It will be played in conjunction with the Monthly Medal Day’s of stroke. There will be 5 games. The winners from all Clubs in the Riverina will be forwarded results of nett/stroke that the Riverina Committee will then process. I will be gathering entries and hope to see all of the OBEs participate.

Six children played in our Juniors On Course program on Saturday 23rd February 2019. Fergus Monahan played really well, scoring 31 for the 6 holes. This included a birdie on the 2nd followed with an outstanding chip out of the bunker on the 5th for an easy tap in par. Sunday 24th February 2019 saw another great turn out for the MyGolf and MyBowls program. It’s great to see this program going strong with another five children registering and being supported by our outstanding coaches. A huge thank you goes to all those involved.
