GREETING from Deputy Assistant for Cultural Tourism Development
Tourists have a variety of motivations to travel. Many tourists come to enjoy attractions and just spend holidays. But over time, many tourists come to recognize the local culture and stories about related tourism objects. Many tourists are very curious about the narration of a tourist attraction. An interesting and precise narrative can be of more value and an unforgettable experience for tourists.
The book "1001 Indonesia Cultural Tourism Packages" which is the output of Deputy Assistant for Cultural Tourism Development contains tour packages from various provinces in Indonesia that are complete and ready to sell. There are 4 major themes namely Pilgrimage Trail, Cultural Heritage, Art and tradition, and Cultural Landscape, that can be chosen according to the wishes of tourists. This edition is a Preview Edition containing 150 packages offered, which will be equipped to become 1001 packages in 2019.
Indonesia is very rich in cultural treasures and traditions that can be tourist attractions for both domestic and foreign tourists. With this tour package book, it is expected that information about the cultural tourist attraction can be increasingly widespread. Deputy Assistant for Cultural Tourism Development wishes this book can be utilized by Marketing Development I and II to meet the target of the Ministry of Tourism itself, and also of course beneficial for the Community and Travel Agencies involved.

Wisatawan memiliki beragam motivasi untuk melakukan perjalanan wisata. Banyak wisatawan datang untuk menikmati objek wisata dan hanya sekedar menghabiskan hari libur. Namun seiring perkembangan waktu banyak wisatawan datang untuk mengenali budaya setempat dan cerita tentang objek wisata terkait. Banyak wisatawan yang sangat ingin tahu tentang narasi dari sebuah obyek wisata. Sebuah narasi yang menarik dan tepat bisa menjadi nilai lebih dan menjadi pengalaman yang tak terlupakan bagi wisatawan.
Buku “ 1001 Paket Wisata Budaya Indonesia” yang merupakan keluaran Asdep Pengembangan Wisata Budaya ini berisi paket paket wisata dari berbagai provinsi di Indonesia yang sudah lengkap dan siap jual. Terdapat 4 tema besar yaitu Art and tradition, Cultural Heritage, Cultural Landscape, Pilgrimage Tour yang bisa dipilih sesuai keinginan wisatawan. GREETING from Deputy for Industrial and Institutional Development
Tourism is an activity very close to the community economy. This is in line with "UNWTO Tourism Highlights: 2016" which states that the last 6 decades of global tourism continue to experience continuous expansion and diversification to become the largest and fastest growing economic sector. Tourist attraction is also not enough to be sold to tourists, it needs a component of Amenitas and Accessibility in the destination area. In addition, of course it is supported by competent human resources to be able to support attractive and well-managed tourism.
Along with the development of tourism that continues to increase, of course, the demand for tour packages will also be sought after. Many tourists prefer a tour package because they are considered to be simpler and can get the correct narrative of course from a competent tour guide. A Tour Guide must also have the advantage of interpreting an interesting narrative so that a tourist can have an unforgettable experience.
The book "1001 Tourism Cultural Tourism Packages" is a collection of cultural tourism packages that are ready to sell. It contains a complete explanation of the packages offered, starting from the itinerary to the price. There are various choices of cultural tourism package themes that can be chosen as desired by tourists.
This year there are 150 tour packages ready to sell. Kemeterian Pariwisata hopes that this tour package can be used by Deputy Marketing I and II as a tour package reference that can be sold abroad. Hopefully later this tour package can increase the number of tourists entering Indonesia and later can be beneficial for Indonesia's economic development.

Pariwisata merupakan kegiatan sangat dekat dengan ekonomi masyarakat. Hal ini selaras dalam “UNWTO Tourism Highlights: 2016” yang menyatakan bahwa 6 dekade terakhir pariwisata global terus mengalami ekspansi dan diversifikasi yang terus menerus hingga menjadi sektor perekonomian yang terbesar dan paling cepat berkembang. Daya tarik wisata juga tidak cukup begitu saja bisa dijual ke wisatawan, dibutuhkan komponen dari Amenitas dan Aksesbilitas di kawasan wisata tersebut. Selain itu tentu ditunjang dengan SDM yang kompeten agar bisa menunjang pariwisata yang menarik dan terkelola dengan baik.
Seiring dengan perkembangan pariwisata yang terus meningkat tentu permintaan untuk paket wisata pun akan banyak dicari. Banyak wisatawan yang lebih memilih sebuah paket wisata karena dianggap lebih simple dan bisa mendapat narasi yang benar tentu nya dari seorang tour guide yang sudah kompeten. Seorang Tour Guide juga harus memiliki kelebihan yaitu interpretasi narasi yang menarik agar seorang wisatawan bisa memiliki pengalaman yang tak terlupakan.
Buku “1001 Wisata Paket Wisata Budaya” ini merupakan kumpulan paket wisata budaya yang sudah siap jual. Di dalamnya lengkap berisi penjelasan paket-paket yang ditawarkan, mulai dari itinerary hingga harganya. Kemeterian Pariwisata berharap paket wisata ini bisa dimanfaatkkan Deputi Bidang Pemasaran I dan II sebagai referensi paket wisata yang bisa dijual ke luar negeri. Semoga nanti nya paket wisata ini bisa menambah jumlah wisatawan yang masuk ke Indonesia dan nantinya bisa bermanfaat bagi perkembangan ekonomi Indonesia.
