THIS WEEK IN PEACOCK MEN’S BASKETBALL… 11/10 #1 Northwest Missouri State L, 89-65 After a busy non-conference schedule to open the season, Upper Iowa 11/12 Missouri Western State L, 77-65 gets a week off before hosting the Northern Sun Conference opener on Thanksgiving weekend. The Peacocks will match up with the Warriors 11/15 Quincy W, 81-59 of Winona State University on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 4 p.m. inside Dorman Gymnasium in Fayette. The game will be broadcast online on UIU TV, and can be viewed in eastern Iowa on KCRG TV 9.2. UIU dominated the Quincy Hawks from start to fnish last Wednesday to win 81-59, and 12/2 *Sioux Falls 6 p.m. then traveled to the NMSU Tournament in Maryville, Mo. to pick up 12/8 *Concordia-St. Paul 8 p.m. two more wins. Upper Iowa hit the century mark in a 110-92 win over 12/9 *Minnesota State 6 p.m. Truman State, and then completed a comeback win the following day 12/16 *Winona State 6 p.m. against Metro State, 68-64 to sweep the week. UIU shot 52% from the feld for the week, including 46% from behind the arc. 12/19 Bethany Lutheran 6 p.m. 12/30 *Bemidji State 3:30 p.m. CENTURY MARK… UIU put together one of their best offensive 12/31 *Minnesota Crookston 3:30 p.m. performances in their history against the Truman Bulldogs. The Peacocks scored 110 points, their second-most in a single game since 1/5 *Sioux Falls 8 p.m. becoming a member of NCAA Division II. It is the most points in a 1/6 *#13 Southwest Minnesota State 6 p.m. game against a fellow D-II opponent; UIU scored 116 points against 1/12 *St. Cloud State 8 p.m. NCAA Division III Iowa Wesleyan in November 2014. 1/13 *Minnesota Duluth 6 p.m. CP3… Carson Parker (#3) had a vintage CP3 performance against 1/19 *Augustana 8 p.m. Truman State last week, as he recorded the frst triple-double for the 1/20 *Wayne State 6 p.m. Peacocks in the Brooks McKowen era, which began in 2013. The senior is now averaging 16.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game this season.
